Thank you for all the insight and comparison! I’ve been debating the tread but my boyfriend is 6’2” and I’m not sure if it’ll be too compact for him. Has your husband had any issues with that? And also just doing a normal walk/run without a class, are they features the same as a regular treadmill?
The Tread is just like using a regular treadmill! My husband hasn't had any issues, but he's not 6'2. I wouldn't see any issue with someone who is around 6'2. Maybe only when you start to get around 6'4+, depending on the height of your ceiling and what incline you're on. We had a friend who's around 6'4 on it and they had no problems.
Hi! I recently had my Peloton Tread delivered. I noticed that when I am just standing on the belt, trying to navigate through the touchscreen every few seconds I hear a loud click noise from the right middle side. Any idea what this could be? Is it normal? Thanks for any assistance you could give :)
Thank you for the review. What floor do you have the tread on? Are you concerned that it might damage the floor without a mat? I am waiting for my tread delivery and wondering if I need to use a mat underneath it to protect my hardwood floors.
It's just peel and stick vinyl on cement floors, and we have the Peloton mat underneath it! So no, we're not worried about it at all. :) It does move ever so slightly with use, so I recommend something protective on real wood floors.
@@MrNurse-cr1lq I wouldn’t. I think that Peloton recommends against the mat actually. It can get sucked up the back and be dangerous. We probably wouldn’t use a mat if we had carpet!
It doesn't come with any accessories, you have to buy everything separate (you can use my referral code to get $100 off of those) and it does not sync with Apple Watch -- that's part of the "What I Would Change" section of the video!
We have a book in the room that only made sense for a piece of equipment like this and it didn’t make sense anywhere else in the room due to its size! The delivery team had it moved up away from the wall but we moved it back a little bit so we had more room to do strength classes in front of it. It’s a lot smaller than it seems and fit really well in our space.
@@RachelRegal - one more question..do you think it’s suitable for a second floor? Thinking about putting it in my spare bedroom on the second floor. Does it make a lot of noise while in use?
@@Sw96579 sorry, I just saw your follow up question! I’ve heard of others who have it on second floors and they don’t have issues. It is pretty noisy when running on the belt fast but otherwise super quiet! I could just be a heavy footed runner :)
@@RachelRegal Agree! When running at a high speed upstairs (on carpet), my dtr downstairs says it sounds like I’m coming through the ceiling, lol! But we can hear normal walking in certain areas coming from upstairs, so I’m pretty sure it’s an issue with my floors and not the tread. Just moved into this house.
Peleton bikes are for sale at the Goodwill, thrift shop, salvation army for 40$,,,, peleton bikes are cheaply made and have become a fad ALREADY 👎 peletons ride is over
Hm, I haven't seen the Peloton bikes at Goodwill/thrift stores for $40 and I thrift shop every week. I've only seen them at high end estate sales for $1500+! You must be a lucky thrifter!
So, after getting my refund back . Peloton still hadn't picked up my treadmill. What should I do? I contacted them three different times to get it picked up but every time they were supposed to show up and pick it up. they never call me to say they aren't going to show, they just don't show up. What should I do. Keep it, and never reply to them ? Or try and contact them for the fourth time ????

Great idea! It’s quiet except for your steps. Sounds like most other treadmills, maybe a little quieter, especially when walking.
