When I played on beta I was using mostly haste, with a decent mix of crit and mastery. Also as far as I am aware it is pretty hard to consistently spam rain now, especially on single target
If you use CB on rancora and overfiend you can get way more st damage and soulfire resets more often. You’d be surprised how much damage bolt still does
True, if anything though this just highlights how stupid it is that you can spam rain more and still top boss dam. I know yesterday they made some changes (prob not the right ones) already but really hoping they fix this playstyle, pretty unhealthy for the spec imo
I tried maybe one or two keys after all of those shard changes and diabolist nerfs got put on beta. There are still some times you kinda need to press rain to not cap shards but it’s a lot less prevalent
Wdym? I have different binds for them, if you’re referring to infernal bolt that’s from the diabolist tree and it just replaces incinerate for one cast when it procs
just curious, since they don't seem to have fixed the rain of fire spam yet - do you still prio crit/haste since you don't take chaos incarnate?

imo i would give up shadow burn for the two talents next to soul fire...seems like more dps and feels the same to DF playstyle
