really nice riding there. i enjoyed the hell out of this vid. you might gain a bit of that top end back if you removed your hand guard covers and your radiator shrouds. only spot you suffer is the long straights, but make that beast as aero as possible and get em there too! gotta figure those shrouds are meant to collect as much air as possible on an mx track at much lower speeds. no need for them going as fast as you are at Barber. could just modify them a bit too to be shorter and stop right at the radiators. just a thought. baddass bike. i likes me some motard. :-)
Omg dude thats badass. I just got into SM about 6 months ago and blew a PR2 CRF270R stroker up there a few weeks ago. I just finished my cr512af SM build and taking it to little talli. Do you still have the bike?

I’ve been thinking of doing this to my cr5 , what sprockets are you using and what is top end?
why didn't you through the power band in? You was shift at too low of an rpm
its a 500 they dont rev high like a 125-250.
cr500 grom any one
Also you should learn to shift with out letting off the throttle.
