Yuki embodies all of alyas insecurities. She's favorite to be class president as she's experienced, graceful, friendly and popular. At the same time, she's also kuzes closest and oldest friend, she feels second in his book also.
Even so, she knows she has potential and wants to show everyone her value.
Then in a plot twist: she finds out that Yuki was his sister the whole time
This is one of the few times that I’d be okay with the sister won.

Crazy thing is that Yuki's VA is kinda new-ish in anime, she's mostly know from voicing Morino Rinze from Idolmaster (and that's mostly in games rather than anime)

Well, it depends. Sometimes they do film in their own room studio. I can't remember which series but I do notice the difference in audio quality of a certain character in the show compared to everyone.

Alya didn't come out of nowhere. The manga and source light novels have been very successful. This anime has been highly anticipated and after its release delay from April to July, I'm very happy that it has held up to the amazing quality of the manga.

At first they tried to make it an isekai but with making a worldbuilding they decide to change it

Oshi no Ko is still probably the most popular, but this is a close second. Nokotan kinda fell off, and I think the sister character in that show didn’t do it any favours

I am not crazy about the troupe and have also outgrown a lot of the romcom and flirty romance anime, but seeing this come out makes me HAPPY and here's why: It means anime is still a very open source of art. As long as stuff like this comes out, it shows that anime isn't restricted and that's a good thing. It means there will be unlimited genres and ideas of anime out there and you can freely pick and choose what you like without hindering another individual.
That's what anime's all about. With that said, give me some good Mature Seinen Time Travel Psychological Fantasy Romance.

Cause some people believe we need to up end the constitution, as they think that the stakes are high enough to justify it in tides outside of anime, that could very easily turn anywhere and wreck everything it dares catch mention of... yay wokeism + also my crippling parranoia that if I point something out to someone & how I like it, it may lessen the impact of it and they'll change because of the things I said, even though they may have been positive... basically, me being personally favoring of risk averseness as I have a fear of loosing...).

I am definitely enjoying Alya, and Yuki absolutely is a blast stealing every scene in which she appears, but I have to admit that this actually isn't my favorite show of the season. I feel like that distinction has to go to My Wife Has No Emotion. It's just so sweet and wholesome, while still being so much fun! Alya is probably my second favorite though.
Oh, and if you want to talk about fourth wall breaking hilarity, have you seen The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You? I discovered that anime last week and binged through it, but it was so great I needed more and started reading the manga. I just don't have the words to describe how amazing and hilarious that one is!

I don't mind incest jokes in Alya since it seems to be a self-aware parody that makes fun of the incest genre, the Rascal does not dream did too but too. That said from what I can tell Yuki seems to be joking about the incest stuff and doesn't actually want to date her brother since all of her actions so far seem to point to her simply having a strong respect for her brother not romantic feelings.

Honestly, the fact that I keep going back and forth on if Yuki is serious on actually trying to win over Alya is what makes it great. At times shes more chill and like "Yeah yeah im just pulling your strings" and then you get scenes like her waking up her brother in episode 2. She a literal wildcard/joker than bring the chaos to the generally tranquil story of a rom com even more so than your traditional imo/bad girl like Nagatoro for example

I've always said it's weird that people accept the shit in Game of Thrones (brother and sister having two fucking kids) love the show with everything in it, yet for whatever reason when it comes to anime, they act like they need to nuke Japan (I've seen people actual saying that). And I haven't read the manga or anything just watching the anime, I bet Yuki is knowingly doing those things on purpose to annoy her brother, I don't remember if he said anything in any episode yet but I'm pretty sure she said she was a big weeb, so you know she knows about all that stuff. Headcanon she has a closet full of anime figurers as well as a ton of hentai ones just hidden away lol.
