There is a trunk button in the back. It's in your license plate space, top edge, sort of in the middle, you need the key fob in the car or in your pocket for it to work, same as with your lock/unlock sensors on your doors. I do agree about the garage door opener. bummer.
I'm thinking about trying to pick up one of the 2019's they are putting out before they disappear... have you had any issues since 2015? Transmission fall out or anything like that?
They definitely made trunk space a priority. But I'd trade it for a little more gas tank, rear leg room and a full size spare tire instead of a donut. I also think it should get better gas mileage than it does. It started out getting the same MPG as my '03 745li with a 4.4 V8. Now that I have 22's on the Taurus the mileage is significantly under what I got in the Beamer. I'm still enjoying the car overall, but I did underestimate the difference in going from a RWD V8 platform to a FWD V6.
I just traded a 2010 I bought new in for a 2018 since they are going to stop making them. I have zero problems with mine in 8 years. I have had several Tauruses over the years. The second one of this bigger style. They are very reliable and trouble free.

+carfan2306 Dude I would have never found that. Thanks :)
You only have that feature if your vehicle has push button start ,if you have a regular key it’s not available
Very clean car. Amazing gloss
Mine has a 19 gallon tank. I just traded my 2010 Taurus in for a 2018. I had no problems with mine in 8 years.
They have a 19 gal fuel tank. They are pretty efficient (288 HP/29 MPG HWY) on the highway so that's plenty. I love mine.

my 2013 Taurus SEL tank took 17 gallons and it has some 34 miles to E. I have 19 gallon tank

SolidMustangP51 - Is this really an SEL Taurus? The radio/AC dash looks like it's from the Limited. Was that something you replaced?
Even though that looks like that came from the limited its Factory And you can conform it on the trunk
There is a trunk button on the back. Its over the license plate

Why did you not buy the super high output (SHO) model Taurus is you wanted a more sporty/ sports car feel?
that's the difference between buying a car at 28 grand and nearly 60 grand.
+Martin Dennis still 26k to over 40k is a big difference. just feels to much like a Buick or rental
Is There A Difference Between A Regular Ford Taurus And Police Interceptor Version
one difference is the interceptor uses a 3.7 liter motor used in the mustang. The taurus motor is 3.5 liters.
Elliot L. Cohen Is There A Difference On The Gear Shift
@@ElliotLCohen 3.5 with with a twin turbo
l like the Ford Taurus SEL. I have a 2014 SEL. My only problem that I have is the gas tank is on the passenger side of the car.
You need to read your manual, there is a trunk button in the back near your license plate read your manualwill tell you where it is
8/19/18, I have the 2015 LTD/AWD, best car I ever had. Small defects: capless gas filler has an available key cap, no DRL. I added a trailer hitch.
Has it been reliable?
2B1ASK1 its was ok. I waa hit by another car and it protected me very well. It had some little issues but nothing major.

Is the vehicle used,Or brand new?
New 4 years ago
Michael Flynn Ok,Well i'm looking forward buying one as well any options that might be better for me?
I would get a CPO especially from dealers that include a Lifetime powertrain warranty to top off. I say this for water pump sake.
So this car is not fast at all?
Trust me it fast
I beat a single cab ram with a hemi. It's pretty peppy for having a v6 and 2 tons

Gross your a buckeye fan.. Lol go blue
Maybe this guy never heard of a ford Taurus SHO. This why you always do you homework before you buy a car
