I just bought one and I absolutely love it. It really is a great sedan. And you can get them now, fully loaded, for under 16k. They really don’t get enough credit.
You look really young yet you have just made the best taurus review. I have seen. So much information. Thank you. I have been looking at a bunch of videos for a week.
I just bought a Certified 2015 Taurus SE with 21000 miles. The beautiful Tuxedo Black Metallic on Dune clothe interior is like new. The car runs like new and is absolutely beautiful. My wife loves the comfort and the quiet cabin. really reat cars!
Hi I just bought my new 2018Ford Taurus a month ago and I love it great car for the price. It has backup camera and remote start I am very happy with it sad this is the last year for it 2019
Mark, you got your history wrong. The Fusion was the replacement for the Taurus. The Five Hundred was a new large sedan. It only became the Taurus because they wanted to bring the name back.
Facts. I be saying this all the tome. The Taurus from 08-2019 is basically the Ford 500. The fusion is basically the Taurus. Look at the over seas 2020 Ford Taurus is proof what the fusion really is 😁😁😁😁😁
Same situation here in Australia, both the Holden Commodore (Chevy SS) and Ford Falcon are being discontinued because people are buying SUVS over large sedans and wagons
I sure hope you didn't put on of those open element k&n filters on there. The factory air filter box has been dyno proven to be the best option against all cold air intakes available on the 3.5 naturally aspirated engine. Open element k&n will result in more noise inside the car but less power at the wheels. A good quality air filter in the factory air box is the best solution. Real gains can be had with a Livernois 89 octain tune applied to the ECU. My 2016 SE gained 29 horsepower at the wheels and the speed limiter was raised. Car drives way better now and I won't get outrun top end by Camery on the freeway!
im actually thinkin of getin a 2015 taurus limited. my mother has a 2011 n it rides really good. i just like the way it feels when im driving it. but i would like to know is there any issues with the taurus that i need to know about?
RIGHT!!!.....ok so i purchased my ford taurus finally, its the SEL model, it has 24,000 miles on it. It rides really good. I like the myford touch. I even got my favorite color too.
I had a 2012 taurus sel fwd. Loved it. I ran it with the air filter cover unclipped and propped up [too cheap for k & n lmao] ( I know, more than likely bad for it..oh well ). It sounded great (similar to yours). I knew that I wasn't going to keep it for 75 years or anything so I wasn't too worried about potential engine damage. I had it for about 18 months before it got repoed when I lost both my jobs. Btw: 2012 had paddle shifters...and let me say.. they sucked.. they took wayyy too long to shift and it just wasn't that exciting when they did eventually work. I got about 16 mpg around town, for the most part I drove it like I stole it though..like I do every car I drive. I'd buy one again (although I think I'd try to find an awd or sho)... Oh and they look completely badass with tinted windows! I bought it in 2012 with 17k miles (previous rental car) and the only problem I had with it after those 18 months and 20k miles is that the rack and pinion was going.. and I think that's because I had it aligned at sears at 20k miles and they fucked it up..drove better before having it aligned than it did after,
I know this is an old video, but I recently bought a 2015 police interceptor, it actually has the tach, it's just minus a few of the menu items, though most of it is still there in a small center area. 3.7 with AWD, absolutely loving it. My favorite feature besides performance is the height of the rear deck, and awesome rear seating position; though people without the backup camera probably think it's totally insane. The beefed up brakes and suspension on the PI are really nice, really shrinks the size of the car. Anyway curious if you still have that Taurus, and what ownership was like. As far as I know the 3.7 is nearly identical, just a tad bit more bore for added power, and different firmware for the transmission, and minus many of the nice comforts in the interior.
Although I don't have the Taurus any more, I can tell you I never had any problems over 52 thousand miles. Fluids and filters and a set of tires. Nothing more. Great car that I miss sometimes. Best of luck with your Interceptor!
I absolutely LOVE the Ford Taurus, bought a 2015 and kept it for 3 years, even paid it off. Be forewarned, it has a water pump issue where Ford stupidly put the water pump INSIDE the engine block, and if it leaks, goodbye engine and you're stuck with a $8,000ish bill for a new engine. Beautiful car, awesome performance, big inside, luxury for a non luxury price, they just had to stick in that planned obsolescence to make some money back I guess. Now driving an 15 yr old Lincoln Town Car, purs like a kitten and will last forever

I have one too - fully loaded - sticker was $47,000 - NO CAR even comes close! I Adore this Taurus!

Love It! I'm actually going to purchase one now! You will find the cost of these to be much less than comparable vehicles. Amazing value!
not necessarily (on the price - as i mentioned above - the sticker on mine was $47,000 - and I did not go for the option for it to park itself)
Good review. Helped me decide to choose this Bull.
Very nice review. I'm purchasing a 2015 this week and your review helped me make my decision final.
you won't regret it - best car on the road IMO
You are smart. Thanks for the FULL review.

you say we are good luck but honestly you do drive 2 cop cars lol great video really liking the direction you are taking the channel
I treated myself to a 2010 Taurus for my birthday. I fell in love with it as soon as I hit the dealership
I have this car and I absolutely love it
does it ride better over the bumps, than the new impala?
Same situation here in Australia, both the Holden Commodore (Chevy SS) and Ford Falcon are being discontinued because people are buying SUVS over large sedans and wagons
That intake makes the Taurus sound aggressive!! I like it. Lol.
The first gen Taurus prolly became big after the original Robocop movie!
I am sad too!
do you ever miss your crown vic or do you love this car?

skypilot0077 what kind of air filters you recommend?
Awesome review I think I'll buy one when I'm 70
You should then plan to cut back on the dope....or you won't make it to 70. Good luck.
Have you had any problems with the Taurus yet?
were did you buy your cold air intake from and how much was it?
Direct from K&N. Around $250.

You should do a review on its counterpart. The New police interceptor sedans.
I love Ford Taurus 👍💜❤
