Even though I own 5 Combats, I think the Foundation series was a really smart move on your part. I tell people all of the time you get WAAAAY more gun going with the a Shadow Systems Foundation Series, for only about forty $ more than a certain Austrian MOS model.😎✌️

Just got a CR920 Foundations model with front night sight and I have a MR920 Foundations model, plus a MR920 Elite. All great guns, love them. My MR920s are the guns I shoot the best, getting acclimated to a smaller gun in the CR but it shoots very well for me.
I am curious about the fundeo version as well .
I have 2 foundation series XR and MR and two elites. CR and DR. I prefer the all black myself. XR is my current carry with a Steiner MPS and Surefire X300. Radian Ramjet.
The Beaver tail is what truly makes shadow systems such a pleasure to shoot. Now every pistol I look purchase… first thing I start to look at is beaver tail
I got an MR920 Foundation at Academy just before Christmas on sale for a great price, $580 otd. The cool thing is the Academy exclusive models Are FDE frame/black slide combo and includes 2 mags. I think the Foundations usually ship with one mag?

I have an MR920 Foundation (with added magwell) and love it. Bought a CR920 Combat - Blue Label cause local gun shelter had that in stock so had to adopt it and take it home. gonna grab a War Poet CR920P on friday. much like Pokemon, I gotta catch em all.

I own 2 MR920s and 1 CR920. If you shoot a lot buy extra trigger pins. That’s the only thing that typically breaks on me and it still shoots fine after I notice it’s either missing or broken in half. Flat shooter all around.
So are Combat models no longer in production?
No, they’ve been discontinued. Of course, our we still support them for any warranty or service needs!
Give us a foundation g34 size. That will be next purchase.
