Catastrophic Failure - Can the Sunak Government Last Much Longer?
Вставка
- Опубліковано 12 кві 2024
- The Sunak government continues to waste our money spending £1 million in advertising on failing #gbnews , paying Science Minister Michelle Donelan's libel costs and damages of £34,000 whilst #rishisunak spent £2 million on focus groups prior to his Eat Out to Help Out scheme and failed to consult the experts.
Import controls come into force at the end of this month at a time when farmers are warning of the worst crop failure since WW2
Profits at HSBC and Tesco have doubled whilst at Shell they have incresed by five times and at British Gas by ten times.
The new immigration rules announced by James Cleverley will make it all but impossible for foreigners to come to the UK without a job paying £29k rising to £39k next year.
The media and the #tories obsess about #angelarayner whilst Nadhim Zahawi was able to 'forget' to pay £3.5m in tax, Lord Ascroft, who has written a book about Claire Rayner managed to evade paying £112m in tax between 2000 and 2010 by being a 'Non Dom'
Lord Bamford has resigned from the Lords and is thought to be liable for £500m in tax.
The number of tax investigation by #hmrc concerning offshore, corporate and wealthy taxpayers has halved in the past five years.
The #dailymail which pays no tax in the UK has printed an article claiming falsely that the UK is now the fourth biggest exporter in the world. This is clearly untrue and deliberately misleading.
Thank you Michael. Ignore Mr Faulkner.
Mr Lambert, Please don't change your weekly piece of "boring "information...
Your "boring" presentation is endearing and makes us smile.....
Thank you very much Cath 😊
@@MichaelLambert1 I liked your candid description of Esther McVeigh, Michael❤
Mr. Lambert, don’t change a thing. While some could erroneously, in my opinion, accuse you of a non-scripted presentation, I actually enjoy your unpretentious and sincere style.
Thank you very much Cormac 😊
Mr Faulkner is a clown 🤡
I’m mid 60s now and have never witnessed the amount of exposure of the sleaze and corruption that we get daily from the government, the press and the rich and litigious. The new social media tools available to the disenfranchised has and continues to rock their boats. That in itself is evolutionary and revolutionary. Keep going Michael.
Could not agree with your views more!
never mind john faulkner, I'm perfectly happy with your video's as they are.
😊
I think your videos are great! For every Faulkner there are many who don't agree with him.
Thank you Lucia 😊
John Faulkner is spouting nonsense
Keep up the good work
Government minister gets £34,000 because she couldn’t keep her mouth shut. Carers who get £81 pounds a week and make an honest mistake get fined £20,000 ?
THANK YOU
MR. LAMBERT.
Pity John Faulkner didn't take his own advice.
My advice Michael is to keep doing exactly what you are doing, just more please 😊
Sunak keeps telling us that his plan is working; well, as he and his family are now considerably richer since he became Prime Minister, then, yes, I suppose it is.
Boring might be a euphemism for "telling the truth".😁
Spot on, as ever Michael!
Thanks Billy 😊
Spot on, Mr Lambert. An incompetent government on its last legs. Carry on your fine work! 🎉😊
😊
I just love your dry humour. 🤣
Another brilliant take on the reality of a failed state, in comparison to what it once was, that is the UK at the moment
😊
DAILY Mail IS AN ABSOLUTE RAG.
I like your style Mr Lambert!! Clear and concise.
Have to say... I like Michael's style and format just the way it is, BECAUSE of the way it is.
Thanks brigidann 😊
Perhaps John Faulkner should watch our Jacob Mogg instead. So much more exciting to listen to him sneeringly talk over the people he’s supposed to be interviewing. His supercilious dulcet tones are guaranteed to get your pulse racing. Carry on Micheal informing us while steadying our blood pressure. You got me through lockdown by showing me that there still were intelligent calm people in this crazy badly governed country.
Thank you very much @veeday1146 😊
I can`t imagine why anybody would want to go to the U.K.
Asylum seekers. To get all the benefits.
Yes, we visited and felt unsafe at night. Lots of aggressive people were on streets and smell of drugs. Supermarkets didn’t have good food and produce, probably due to Brexit. What a mistake ( Brexit ) they did
Because we are an easy touch
Well Michael I find your delivery most interesting and as you so rightly say if you don't like it don't watch, it simple but there's always someone ready to put others down.
Keep going Michael you keep us going .
Thanks.
Thank you Sally 😊
Please don't change the channel's approach as requested by John Falconer (discussed at the beginning of this video). When Micheal is speaking, it is frank conversation. I like that. It is the type of direct conversation people have over coffee or tea.
If Mr. Falconer wants an essay, he can read a newspaper.
Thank you Colin 😊
Never boring Michael.
Thanks Deborah 😊
I like your podcasts and your style. You tell the truth.
Thanks 😊
Cheers Michael good work!
Some of us love you're style👍 Keep it up!
Agreed. I listen to stuff while working, so a clear, coherent voice is quite sufficient.
Thanks Mark 😊
Just be you Michael, that's why we watch.
Yes, there is no point in or need for a change in presentation so far as I am concerned. The suggestions were probably designed just to try to belittle or detract. As has been said, there are numerous other YT videos on current affairs and politics that follow a so-called 'professional' approach, and many of those are not particularly wonderful or riveting.
Thanks Peter 😊
Great presentation, and Michael don't change your natural style!! John F should play something like a video game if he wants excitement.
Thank you 😊
The dodgy actions of Shapp/Green/Fox, Johnson, Zaharwi, Ashcroft etc al shows any politician who is not a Tory has to be abide by higher standards.
Grunt Shats was actually on the media yesterday daring to criticise Rayner...you just couldn't make it up! He is trolling us all.
Some people can only be happy when they are criticizing.I think they're kind of sad. Another good post Michael. Keep 'em coming.
Indeed...although I do look forward to John Falconer posting link(s) about how it should be done properly.
Take no heed of John F. Boring you are not.
Thankyou for your work.
Thank you Bob 😊
Perhaps John should pass his advice on to GB News
agree and there are so many sio called professionals who don't hold them to account unlike journalists like Victoria Derbyshire
I think you're wonderful Michael. John Falkner's comments are arrogant and boring, he clearly doesn't appreciate your subtle sarcasm and humour.
Thank you very much jattewel 😊
But Rishi has not failed to make himself and the missus much richer. Which was the main idea.
Earning 39k working in a care home? My wife’s worked in care homes for over 15 years, is a shift leader, NVQ5, and wouldn’t get close to that even if she worked a 60-hour week.
I've just returned from a holiday in the Netherlands. They certainly do seem to have a better quality of life. Not many cars around in cities and towns, just bikes! No potholes. Everywhere so clean and tidy; not a drop of litter in sight! Everybody pleasant and welcoming to visitors. I enjoy listening to your videos Michael and certainly don't find them boring. Keep up the good work!
Yes that sounds good, but the Netherlands is a Narco state isn't it?
@@greegan37😂😂
Thank you Valerie 😊
How very thoughtful of John to give his tips .Does he have a channel to illustrate his point ? If not ,why not, he could be a hit just as you are .As usual I enjoyed your style , well researched and presented with a wonderful dry humour . Looking forward to your video next week and hope you enjoyed some chocolate and their amazing chips,Have a great weekend Michael Thumbs up 384
Thank you very much Helena 😊
Dear Micheal, these people say you're boring but are listening to your UA-cam platform. This makes no sense.. Keep up the good work. ..👌🏿
Thank you kk 😊
Keep the good work up Michael
Well said Michael, it's what we're all thinking. Election now.
October suit me much better after the Chancellors Autumn statement and some further tax cuts. Labour can't fund their present plans so this will put them even more in the shit.
@@jjefferyworboys8138 And the tories can fund their present shambles? They've run out of other peoples's money to steal which is why they've given up pretending to run the country
Thanks very much Mr Lambert. We have to protect our democracies all around the world 🌎. We are living very dangerous times.
What is Anderson going to do if he loses both his job as a GBNews host and his job as a MP?
"That blonde slapper" quote made me laugh.
Michael , I completely agree with your thoughts and the way you present them is a very professional and level headed approach. No complaints here about your content.
Thanks Matthew 😊
If John Faulkner (Falconer) thinks you're "boring", why does he not just go to someone else's videos. He's clearly just trying to wind you up.
I always look forward to your videos. They are honest and concise. Thanks. 😊
Thanks very much 😊
@@MichaelLambert1 Thanks. I'm looking forward to your report from Liége.
@@MichaelLambert1 I think you're fighting a good fight. No "head-banging" against authority - just the truth.
I'm looking forward to Liège! 🙂
Michael's approach is NOT BORING! Many of us await eagerly his weekly offering of opinions in order to respond to him or to one another. For those who do not 'get' his style, so be it, but please do not lecture us. We do not wish to be educated into how we should be examining our thoughts, experiences and reactions. Maybe other channels are in need of your 'advice', but not this one! So please get out quietly and let us say "FAREWELL" and "God Speed"! 👋👋👋
Thank you very much @3bebles 😊
John Faulkner obviously does not appreciate your accuracy and awareness of all political and the shambles we are in, which you go into with dedication and awareness as you have dealt personally with the fall out of government miss management, these criticisers need to button up and do not watch if only to attack your presentation. Best wishes.
Thanks Sarah 😊
@@MichaelLambert1 You are most welcome!
I quite enjoy your presentation style, Michael. As my daughters would say, it’s your authentic voice.
Good afternoon Michael.
Best news ...GB News is going down the pan...
Brilliant.
The person who criticised your clips hasn t got a clue about prentation....if he wishes to have a political party forecast he will have to try elsewhere... I enjoy your weekly clips.
They are accurate informative and straight to the point with a soupçon of irony which I enjoy.
Please keep going and ignore the Rabat joie. Xx😊
Michael is the berries! ❤
That guy slagging him off is obviously a brexitard.
I meant presentation sorry
Thank you Isabelle 😊
You carry on doing what you're doing Michael . a great job !
😊
I watch your channel for your insight and acerbic humour! As far as I'm concerned your delivery perfectly matches the mood of the nation. Perhaps John Faulkner should start his own channel, he clearly considers himself an expert.
Thank you Carol 😊
I need to buy a small component made in Denmark. Rather than get it delivered it is easier for me to get on an easyJet flight and go and collect it myself!
Thanks insane... What would Greta say? Did you have a Greta boarding pass to get on the aeroplane? 😀😀😀
Don’t mind him Michael. I love your dry wit
😊
Add to this appalling record, the "Titanic Success" of Brexit (as described by a Tory Minister) and it can't get any worse. Can it ?
Such a wonderful expression "Titanic Success" to describe Brexit. I haven't heard that one before. But it sounds perfect on so many levels. 🎻 🚢
I love it!! "Titanic" a great was to describe Brexit.
Keep up the good work!
"Failure"? I have to disagree.
The rats are not merely preparing to leave a sinking ship, they have sold it for scrap.
You need a very expensive education to manage that.
People from council estates need not apply ...
Take no notice of Mr Faulkner. We like you just the way you are.
Me and the twenty odd thousand who listen without fail.
Thanks Brian 😊
John Faulkner sounds like one of my English teachers - back in primary school.
It's not a failure when it's intentional.
Your delivery has always been a big part of your charm. It's like having a chat in the living room. I get a cup of tea and a project (could be art or needlework) and I sit down and press play. The subjects you talk about are stressful. I like that you do it quietly and allow me to destress myself with hobbies regardless.
Looking forward to a walk around Belgium.
Thank you very much Sue - much appreciated 😊
I would really like to see Gammons working on the fields. That is really, really strenuous work. Gammons will quit after half a day, max.
After completing a five-year indentured apprenticeship in mechanical engineering and then a degree in the same, I left the U.K. in 1984 and ended up in the Middle East designing on-shore platforms for the Petro-Chem industry .... To cut a long story short I now live in Hong Kong with my Chinese wife, and we together grow peaches, kiwi fruit and broccoli for export to the mainland ... When we settle down for dinner at night, we often read and listen to the news about the many problems corrupt U.K. is facing with everything, and I always say to her; I left the U.K.in 84 and have not been back since, so how lucky I am ....
Smart move Jimmy...👍
Thanks .... It's strange, if you're in the right place at the right time, something good will come out .... The initial trip to Hong Kong wasn't planned, nor was the girl I got talking to at the crossing in De Voeux Rd, Central .... She was still at college finishing off a degree in Agriculture, I just came up with the money and everything else smelled of Kiwifruit from then on ....
Boring? Perhaps John prefers the manufactured eccentricity and jollity of the oaf Boris Johnson.
Dear John Faulkner: The most useless advice is advice nobody has requested and demands to be taken seriously. So, just keep it to yourself until Michael asks for it.
Thanks Michael, another great talk.
Thank you Michael 😊
Top notch views on our worst ever government as always Mike. Keep it coming, you're keeping us all sane
Thanks Peter 😊
Love your channel and dry wit! - which i suspect whooshes by Mr. Falconer.
😊Thank you
Training up Uk citizens??? I worked in restaurants as a student, and also in the fields. You need stamina and some understanding of what you are doing for both. A lot of unemployed Brits could not do it on account of being unfit. To working in the fields: it is hard work, and must be done very quickly, so we worked from dawn to dusk, which is a long day in the summer. It is completely incompatible with looking after a family (especially as it is done in the summer, with schools on holidays), which is why it is done by students, or by people who live on site for the duration and do nothing else.
Michael, impressed by your eloquent response to the critique. Your delivery and content make your Chanel so enjoyable whilst your observations and comment are both informative and entertaining as always. 👍
Thank you very much Shaun 😊
Rishi knows best .....all five pledges in the bin .
I hear the torys have a 'plan' to get rid of the 5 or 7 bins. Just dump the rubbish in the rivers and sea.
Wouldn't surprise me .
The UK's wealthy were the instigators of brexit. The EU's new tax stance, on the regulating of offshore tax havens and the new tax principle, of taxing profit revues at their source; was that EU tax-strew, that broke the wealthy tax-fiddlers back. Cameron's efforts to convince the EU, that the UK should be exempt from the EU's new tax regulation; failed, so thereafter, the wealthy stared to crackup brexit. But have no fears, the wealthy are very happy with things as they stand and as they have evolved after brexit, part from one thing and that's really pissing them off; they now have to pay tax, directly at the source of their the EU investments. Bozo Johnson and his gang of merry wealthy-men, thought that a hard brexit would hit the EU harder, than the UK. They made a big mistake - because the EU doesn't live in the same parallel world of entitlement, as they do. For some, money is just as intoxicating; as the strongest drugs.
Always nice to have advice. Micheal, your honesty, humour delivery are appreciated. Keep it coming.
Thank you Reg 😊
I watch this avidly each weekend BECAUSE of the relaxed, but accurate reporting and opinion. Keep up the good work.!
Thank you 😊
Don't pay any attention to that Michael! I think you are spot-on!
😊
We are just hanging on by a thread, moving numbers about on a screen won't cut it for ever, thanks for vid Michael, great news about GB news though.
Thank you for another excellent broadcast Michael, I’m particularly glad you covered the Angela Rayner situation as the desperate Tories try anything to discredit Labour. Will they ever call a General Election?! 😞
Hi Michael, I'm sure your viewer does not understand DEAD pan comedy, I find your presentations very informative and presented in a straight faced comical way. Please don't change
We are lead by donkeys but hopefully not for much h longer
It is almost like Sunak really wants his governing to be as bad as it possibly could get.
He proved very good at that so far.
Boring?! What?!
I’m French/Irish and I just love your SO English style:
Falsely genteel and diffident, truly clever and witty!
Bonne journée cher monsieur.
🙂👍
Merci beaucoup 😊
Imagine hearing someone speak every week from the heart, with such clarity and such urgency, about the experience of living in Tory Britain and thinking they would need your advice on *paragraphing*. How completely they missed the point of these check-ins.
Brilliant as usual Michael
Thank you 😊
You do know how to slate this governance; brilliant!
Thanks Alan 😊
I LOVE your show Mr. Lambert 😁❤️🙏🕯️ I never find you boring!!! Telling the TRUTH is NEVER boring👍👍👍
Best to your continued research on the present day news on our absolutely corrupted government👍👍👍
Thank you very much Gavin 😊
Excellent work yet again Michael 👏
I suppose Mr Faulkner would prefer someone like Boris Johnson. He isn`t boring but is a compulsive liar!
Critique the messenger but not the message. The man obviously approves of the criminal greed of government. He's probably taken a bung to post his preposterous thoughts.
As always Michael an excellent summary. A broken country where almost nothing functions led by an educated oaf nominally leading a chamber of horrors Party . It’s like watching a slow motion disaster.
Don't change a thing Michael "blonde slapper" had me in stitches😂. 😊
Me too! Michael is obviously a decent, articulate gentleman...him throwing curveballs like this is delicious!
Thanks 😊
I always loved the monty python Sketch what have the Romans done for us it could be applied to the tories .? Apart from the disaster of brexit record amounts of people using foodbanks , nobody being able to afford mortgages , Rents being sky high , record homelessness , Council tax sky high and less service , The super rich increasing there wealth many times over while the rest of us get poorer and poorer . Apart from record water bills and the massive cost of traveling by train and the third world service it is , Apart from record waiting lists in the NHS , , Apart from lower living standards than any other EU country , apart from no social housing being built and shit flowing in the seas and rivers , no investment in Green and loads more oil exploration being granted . Apart from those and some other stuff . The plan is working and we have turned the corner they tell us
Don't forget HS 2 and the suicide rate fread 😂😢
James is not cleverly 😊
Dear Michael, forget about John and concentrate on your personal and interesting approach to news and lovely, oblique humour.
Excellent as always Michael, don't change ❤️
Thank you Michael for your entertaining presentations which I listen to every Saturday morning with pleasure.
Thanks Edward 😊
When you mentioned GB news presenters I take you meant the dross of the Tory party
As regards the advice offered, This gentleman whose main adjective was "Boring" fails to recognize something simple. Which is what happens when you begin tio coat simplicity in layers of carefully chosen and polished words. You Mister Lambert and plainspoken and direct.. These sterling qualities have gone missing in the era of Johnson and Sunak. The gentleman who has given you enormous advice has mistaken a plan spoken quality for something that causes boredom. This poor fellow's ears have been without plain speaking for such a long period that he now finds objective truth to be boring. That is the principal political and social-economic problem across the UK and the entire world today. So many people have sold themselves to the glib slickness in which outright lies and half-truths are packaged that it bores them when they hear simple plainspoken truth. Think briefly about the depth of this tragic state of affairs. Truth must be packaged correctly to be received and understood. How frightening Thank you, Michael, for being just who you are, and not what someone else supposes that you should be.
Thank you very much @rocistone6570 😊
Michael, I have always found your comments insightful and interesting, never boring and always professional.
😊 Thank you
