Hey my friend wants to do K2.4 swap on an Acura CSX 2010 same as civic 2010 can we pull the engine & transmission from the top rather than removing the subframe & taking it out from under the car
Excuse my ignorance, I have an 04 civic SiR with a k20a3 if I swapped in a k20a2 and the 6 speed from a type S and had the OEM type S ECU is a KPro still required? would the only thing I need to by pass be the immobilizer ? If the KPro isn’t required what would be the advantage of using one?
i watch every video bud been here since 18 subs but a video i want to see is all ur AN hoses sizes fittings walk through i am in process of doing all mine from k tuned just ordered 6an for k tuned fuel rail
asakapa0003 with a rbc the stock throttle body won't bolt up directly, you would need an adapter. But if you had a skunk2 manifold the stock tb will bolt up
asakapa0003 personally my tuner said the rbc performs the same if not better than the skunk2 manifold. Now if you port the rbc you will see better gains and the rbc is half the price which is why I got rid of my skunk2 and got a rbc
SERGMOTIVE GARAGE yes i mean i do have a karcepts adapter with the rbc.. i was just saying for the throttle body should i match an aftermarket throttle body or keep the stock one would it make a difference?
asakapa0003 it probably wouldn't make too much of a difference if your not gonna tune it, or if you have simple bolts ons. The right way to do it would be to get a port matched throttle body, but if your just gonna daily the car I mean spending another 300 bucks for maybe another 8-10 hp isn't always worth it lol you won't feel that on the street

Anthony Elia engine hoist, some impact guns, torque wrench, loctite, basic ratchet and socket set, mainly 10,12,14,17. Patience and time. Most people use the rsx type S trans, they say its plug and play. As far as ecu. Get a kpro. It will save time and allow you to get tuned. Youll need a crv rear mount I beleive and an rbc with adapter.
Those aren't vice grips, vice grips is a brand of locking pliers, those are called tongue and groove pliers also known by the brand channel locks which is also a brand... Gotta take you kids to school...

bhadz100 if I had ac I would have to bring my car to a shop to get the refrigerant evacuated out of the system so I can remove the ac lines

Buy the password jdm battery relocator and you can drop it down beside the trans
You also need odyssey battery

its the factory harness, i redid it to ''tuck'' it and make it cleaner
