I remember buying this for 10p in Rumbelow's, Swindon...always reminds me of weekends spent visiting family in that Wiltshire town...not sure if that's a good thing or not!!
She did do a cover of Prince's "When You Were Mine" I have only seen it as a 7" 45 rpm with her on the cover in a blue and white polka dot outfit with stiletto heels from the 60s. Great rendition of that song if anyone can find it.
Just when I had copied this song from an old tape and was ready to upload it I found that you already had done it:) However, this version is of better quality so thank you very much. It's a very good song!
Bette is still kicking back the decades with Deaf School
Go Bette! Remind me of good ol days
i had a dream a couple of weeks ago that just involved this song playing on a radio. Thanks. Yes she did marry Suggs from Madness.

@drevent7677 Yep, they were great for selling off singles that were dropping our of the charts for 10p each. Bought a load of singles in there.
What a Talented Family!, Bette, Mr Bright & his Forays, The Daughters who sound good & apparently Suggs Mother Could holds a tune too!.
I've been waiting for someone to post up this beautiful little song (got it on vinyl but deck's knackered so great to see it up here). Thanks!

Loved Deaf School who would and should have made it big if not for the tidal wave of Punk. Bette Bright and the Illuminations album was great too! :>)
Thanks thought I would never hear this again :)
I was aware of this song and the singer but I have just heard it for the first time.
Great pop song,thanks!
