It was only Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker that brought magic to the Doctor in Doctor Who; however the amazing Jon Pertwee also brought magic to this scarecrow character.
John Pertwee - would be proud to recognize 'Werzel Gummage' presented by TV companies to entertain our small children at 7 years of age when they begin learning their 121 x tables.
I'm sure the version I heard contained the line "I've got a turnip, for me 'ead; I've got a carrot, for me nose. But it wasn't Worzels choice, oh no; it was what the Crow man chose". Anyone else know that version??
