In PA the e bike motor has to be under 750 watts and have a maximum speeds of 20 mph on a level surface when powered by the motor source only, weighs no more than 100 pounds and has operable pedal. E bikes are not subject to the registration, licensing or insurance that apply to motor vehicles.

In May of this year, I bought an Emmo 84 volt "Monster". Out of the previous 4 e-bikes I've owned, this one is by far the best of them all. One of my favorite features is its ability to carry both myself and my wife with ease. It has some nice and fat tires with a really aggressive tread. Although the smaller diameter of the wheel takes some getting used to, it has no problem on asphalt or grid roads. The blue-tooth stereo system is fantastic for when you just want to cruise around and listen to some tunes. It also has an FM receiver and a usb port under the seat for a pre programmed thumb drive. On top of that, it also has a separate usb port under the seat, with a switchable light, for charging your phone.
So far, I've been able to get a useable range of about 50 km, or about 30 miles, with a top speed of 63 km/h or almost 40 mph.
I've owned an e-bike since they first became available in my area back in 2008. Every year I save hundreds of dollars just by leaving my truck in the driveway. In fact, if I don't need to travel anywhere long distance, I don't even bother to plate my truck for that month. (its covered under my property insurance when its in the yard)
I've been preaching about electric transportation for years. Long before I bought my first e-bike. It's gratifying to see more and more people finally embracing the idea. Its just a shame that it had to take a climate crisis, fuel shortages/extreme rate hikes, and wars over oil, for people to start really taking it seriously.
I will stand and applaud anyone who chooses electric options for transport of any kind. Bikes, cars, busses, and even airplanes, are being made electric. Not only will the world become less polluted, it may even become somewhat quieter.
    Thanks for sharing this, JP.
    Cheers, from Saskatchewan, Canada!

@@JPVideos81 I bought it for just a little over $3k. (Cdn) It would have been a little cheaper if I would have bought it outright, but I financed it. This way I only have to pay $73/mo, and the dealer offers annual maintenance for $40. So, next May, I just have to take it in to the shop and he'll refresh the batteries and give the entire bike a once over to check all the nuts, bolts and wiring.
With winter coming, I'm tempted to look into one of their machines called a "Moon Bike". It has a single ski on the front and a narrow track to drive it to a max speed of 42 km/h (26 mph). It's a little on the expensive side, so I doubt I'll be getting one this year, but it's certainly a goal.
If you'd like, I could send you a link to the company I bought it from.
      Have a great day!

That is a seriously impressive bike! It seems like they've maxed out what features they can include in a bike that size. It's got similar components to my Lectric XP, yet has a lot of upgrades way beyond what Lectric offers. I'm with you in not liking how the throttle acts when you pedal or have the lower PAS modes. I usually ride my Lectric in PAS 1 or 2, yet I have full throttle on demand in those modes as needed. That's something I wouldn't want to do without. I also like that mine has the twist throttle. Other than that, you've got a great bike there!

I'm currently riding a 26" Ancheer Sport. It has a 250 watt motor, dual suspension, cable operated disc brakes, front and rear plastic "fenders" , and a headlight with built in horn. I paid $650.00 for it 4 years ago, and is still going strong on the original battery. It's still available on Amazon under a different name now.
I'll be 55 on the 7th of January, and want a smaller E-Bike. After a lot of searching and watching UA-cam reviews, I have narrowed my choices down to these two bikes.

I did hundreds of hours of research into ebikes several years ago. The Engwe was one of the contenders, but every feature that you tout was available on the Rattan folding bike. It had the pedal assist, except it worked on all PA modes (5 levels), the fenders were standard, it had a built in bike rack like the Engwe. It was foldable, but more robust. The bike was amazing, but at around 2,000 miles the motor disintegrated. I'm hoping to be able to fix it, but I live on SSI, so big layouts of money take some time to plan.
Having an ebike was life changing. It allowed me to get out and explore, so I can't wait to do it again. I used to live in South Central PA. There was so much to see. I live in Northern DE now, it's not as nice naturally as PA is. There are still some hills and camping spots, but I long for the PA woods and hills.

I have been looking to invest into an E bike because of my mobility issues. Going to visit Mackinac Island is on my bucket list and the only mode of transportation on the island is bike, horse and buggy or horseback. They only allow class 1 or 2 E bike on the island for people like me with mobility issues. That one is very nice but I could never use it on the island because It goes to fast 😒 the island speed limit is 25 miles an hour. Is there any way to govern the speed down? It would be a great bike for me around home. Heck I could see me on it going to our small town up the road. I love love to ride bike but my lower back and left ankle I broke years ago limits me when I have to to push hard on the pedals to go up hill. This E bike looks comfy and the seats have to be comfy for my back issues and that seat looks like a Cadillac seat lol 😁. Almost every state limits what can be the top speed of a E Bike and still not need to be licensed.
That’s, I believe , is why the throttle system is setup that way, it might allow the manufacturer to
    maintain it as a “bike”.

    2) rear suspension didn't work
    3) drive chain was chewing off the sidewall of the tire
I had no seller support, no drop shipper support, and no manufacturer support.
I replaced the broken wire, changed mine to a 7 speed, and reworked the rear suspension.
A little customer support would be nice, but then again, they didn't send me a free bike, so buyer beware.

I've only done one train and one electric bike video in the last month. I have a couple abandoned locations lined up for the fall.

Weird they go against the norm by putting a throttle on the left side. Would be a slight learning curve

How much does it weigh? I'm under 5 feet tall and just 96lbs. I need to know if I can get my dad to buy me one because, Lord knows, I can't afford it on food service pay. My Trek peddle bike costs as much as that. JP. Send me yours. Please. 🙏🙏🏽🙏🏼🙏🏾 I don't get anything for free. You do because of your awesome UA-cam videos. Keep up the good work.

I pointed to it under the rear fender. 750w rear hub motor.

Now if they had charging unit to charge batteries while you ride would be awesome.

It can charge while coasting around 13:20 he talks some about how it works. I don't think it has regenerative braking though from what I saw here.

This is as close as there is to having a built in rechargeable system.

I _had_ a bike similar, the HEYBIKE Ranger, and it was a blast!!! Mine was 500 Watt though. I wanted to point out how it seems as though these bikes are being procedurally generated by AI or something 🤣 They're all just slightly reorganized versions of one another 👍

As mentioned, there's many variables that play a factor into distance. The lighter the rider, flater the terrain and lower pas mode you use will get you further. Some other review videos have gotten their bike up to 35mph. Any higher and you can by an electric motorcycle haha

Typically mountain bike style bikes have wider bars. This is more of a commuter/trail bike and the bars feel good to me.

Se dai sempre il 100% all'acceleratore perdi il Cruise control.
L' acceleratore serve per le ripartenze difficili.
Se vuoi il 100% basta mettersi in modalità sport e impostare il livello 5.

As always with these e bikes. Everyone wants to go100 mph with throttle. If you want the speed you might as well go out and get a motorbike.
