I thought it was the video I needed but after looking at the channel. It seems it has been created by Theragun's marketing team to trash the competition. They also don't mention the settings which is quite weird
Read the specs and determine for yourself which has more power or the power you need. Don't rely on video and someone else's experiment. Read, read, read!
Nice Shot everyone has their own opinion, my manager at work really love Theragun much more than hypervolt. He likes theragun because he feels it is much more powerful than hypervolt. I like hypervolt more because it pin point better to my muscle than hyperagun.
@@blahhcookiiee I bought both the theragun pro and Hypervolt plus to compare last week. Returned the Hypervolt. Theragun does work and penetrate the muscle more no question about it, Hypervolt feels like a vibrator in comparison. Although Hypervolt isn’t bad, I feel like they both can serve a different purpose. If you’re looking for real muscle work and deep tissue, go with theragun, better by a landslide. I recommend you try it if you can, you can always return it if you feel it’s not for you, just wouldn’t want you missing out on a good therapy device if it is more beneficial for you, it’s been a game changer for me.
I see a lot of counter arguments regarding speed. But the speed doesn’t change the depth of the respective machines. I first bought the hypervolt. Loved it, but it felt like a surface level massage, more vibration than percussion. I had to press the machine firmly into the tissue to get result, and it took very long. I wasn’t sure about the purchase so I bought the Theragun g3 and compared them for a few days. But honestly, after 5 minutes I knew the Hypervolt was going back. If you need a quiet machine, that gives you a relaxing and warming massage, go hypervolt. But If you really need that tough love and go deep, and want to get results faster, accepting the noise it makes, go theragun. This is totally unbiased, just a consumers opinion. I use it for chronic pain and it makes me take less painkillers, which was the aim.
Kind of of Agee but disagree because both these massage guns and every other that I’ve seen don’t go in different directions you know what I mean that it’s pretty much the same for both it’s like well an actual gun or bow and arrow aim and shot you can’t change the direction in which the bullet not the arrow travel it will always go forward unless you’re that blue guy from guardians of the galaxy and can redirect the arrow 🤷♂️ and that’s how I feel about all these guns looking into buying an entry level one because I had an injury at my old job and as time has been going on it’s only getting worse which is normal but creams are no longer doing the affects so if I feel like an entry level one does a decent job then I’ll look into one of these but again I think with these guns it comes down to speed and power.
Theragun was designed with the science of percussion therapy behind it, which is why they are not competing as far as stroke length and number of percussions per minute. The settings are what is needed for the best results when using the therapy. That is why 1000’s continue to purchase it despite the cost...It just works...and works well.
Super interesting video comparison. Wish you would have eliminated some of the variables in this experiment. Hope you cleaned those attachments well before using them again lol.
What arbitrary measure is this supposed to be supporting? What setting was each tool on? What speed is proven best for massaging a pork shoulder vice a human subject? How does this translate into anything useful from a therapeutic viewpoint?
It was a pointless video... just a stupid marketing video.Even if the g3 was slightly more powerful, I'd still get the Hyper-volt over it because of how relatively quiet it is. I think the g3 is actually more powerful, just not to the extent demonstrated in the video.
I am a combat vet and always in pain... I bought the theragun and it hands down relieves pain as instructed... I mean the FIRST time you use it... I used to spend hundreds a month on massage therapy... now only once every 6 weeks...this thing is pricey but worth every damn penny
See how they are holding (pushing) down the Theragun, while holding up the Hyperice. Wish they added sound to this cause you need earplugs for the Theragun....
I've tried them both at dicks sporting goods store the theragun g3pro is better I ordered one on recovery for athletes website they take HSA and I use mine everyday it's way better then the hyperice hypervolt you get what you pay for quality life changing product if you have pain or need it for recovery
The way the hypervolt is held there is no pressure at all. I have the Hypervolt 2 Pro it's damn strong. So far, only one patient I have been able to use full pressure with no discomfort.
not a fair or meaningful comparison as: 1) Soft, round head of the Hypervolt used 2) Obvious from the video that minimal contact and pressure used with the Hypervolt
Hypervolt has 3 settings, the G3 has 2. So if they were both set to setting 1, the Hypervolt would be only working @ 33% power vs 50% power on the G3. No mention of any of this information, what a pointless video, fun to watch though.
God damn it I just bought and got the hypervolt 2 pro lol , i told my mom i was gonna buy myself the “athlete” one cuz nfl/nba have contact with Hyperice but she rather have the one chiropractors use : the theragun and now I see why it’s used in clinics but I still stand by my decision . This video still has me surprised tho , wow.
Theragun does go deeper, no doubt. But this video is biased because if you look closely, theragun at its shorter reach is still resting in the pork where as the hypervolt at its shorter reach is centimeters away from the pork. Fair comparison would be both of them resting on the meat at their shorter reach and then hold it at that position
Vybe beats both by far but be careful it is way way powerful. The vybe blue gun that looks like a jigsaw. It will blow theragun out of the water. But on the neck its brutal you want a short throw one for the neck such as the hypervolt. The vype has a 77mm throw so it with its power the rechargeable batteries blows these away
NOBODY can scientifically deny that the Theragun is the better option but the hypervolt has its pro's as well. What this video doesn't do is make it even grounds 🙄
I’m not sure the theragun is actually therapeutic at that point, at least hypervolt takes it easy while managing to vibrate the whole thing consistently, the theragun just beats up one part of the pork and the rest shakes along with it.
I'm in the weird part of UA-cam again.
😂
Lmao same 💀
claz mate👍🏻
lol
😂
Why did I just watch meat get pounded for 47 seconds
I don’t need a video to watch meat get pounded for 47 seconds. I could do that at home for at least 60 seconds
@@a.c.5484 I can do that for hours.
You can watch me with your mom but then again you would be in the same boat and for about the same amount of time lol jk

Its pretty obvious
Read the specs and determine for yourself which has more power or the power you need. Don't rely on video and someone else's experiment. Read, read, read!
That’s what I thought too. The comparison is really unfair
Haha they have 3 videos all bashing the Hypervolt. That is some petty marketing on Theragun's part.
Nice Shot everyone has their own opinion, my manager at work really love Theragun much more than hypervolt. He likes theragun because he feels it is much more powerful than hypervolt. I like hypervolt more because it pin point better to my muscle than hyperagun.
Why not show the Hypervolt at its full speed?
Just vibrating on higher frequency. Speed is not strength
Speed doesn’t equal power. The head only travels 10mm, whereas the Theragun travels 16mm. Therefore deeper hits into your muscle.
@@a.s.6365 wrong.. theragun is at max level and hypervolt is at 1 level.
@@a.s.6365 also did u not see that she is not even pressing the hypervolt against the meat, she is keeping it few mm above the meat.
@@pralayaryanagain. Read the comment above yours. The amplitude of the theragun is 60% more. Not rocket science.
They put the hypervolt further back than the theragun. Bias video.💯
Wut? No they didn’t lol what would you rather them have put the hyperbolt bulb directly on the skin before turning it on? Lol
I know you're trolling
Facts
100% agree!! It's SO obvious, too!!
The thera just has a bigger head.
these guys took "beat ma meat" to a whole another level.
😂😂😂
Interior meat
Your holding one farther away and probably running it on a slower speed.
The video seems extremely biased

The theragun is straight up on a different level to the hypervolt
Probably for good reason? Shouldn't you have a rational bias in favor of the better product? Is the meat biased too? Yes, lol.
You guys didn’t even have the hypervolt close to the edge of the meat like the theragun
I see a lot of counter arguments regarding speed. But the speed doesn’t change the depth of the respective machines. I first bought the hypervolt. Plot twist: we are humans, no pigs 🐽
they cant do it on human meat because then they will get arrested .-.
doesn’t look like hypervolt was at max setting though
It definitely wasnt Haha
Regardless, the Theragun has more percussive power. Read the manufacturer's specs.
Trashy video

now I just need to pick the right head for a steak :)
woah hypervolt sols rng irl??

What level is the Hypervolt?
Watching pork get vibrated..I need some sleep
ehy is the good one so kuch oressed into the meat and the bad one is so far it can barelly touch it?
How much cooling time does that save you?

You.
Hypervolt is quiter and lighter , plus they put it on the lowest setting to make it seem weaker , there are stronger hypervolt settings
“That’s what she said”
Do you have a video where you test meat tenderizers on human body?
Hypervolts further back with the squishy tip
We do have to factor in the fact that the Theragun inventor was injured in a motorcycle accident. So, it may explain why that Theragun goes in deeper.
The distance...is a difference
How hard was each device pushed into the meat?
That's what she said..

Could you do this with the new models?
Note how they hold hypervault almost an inch higher, creating far less contact.
Because the Theragun has a longer wand.

They're massage guns used to massage your muscle tissue in your body.
And why the lady laughs a little when she says "Light vibration"?
Now I want pork
Pretty sure an unbranded massage gun from eBay is as good as the theragun on the highest setting.
I saw this in the al juma souq i didnt know its for meat but why they do this for the meat
Great review

Lmao what a flawed method. At least you guys could’ve showed the pressure settings for both.

Its like getting punched
Multiple purpose ladies😁
.-. Thera gun head is of solid plastic where as hypervolt is of softer material
I can seen clear biased compression , u need to bring Hybergun closer to Pork ....u barely let hypergun nob touch pork meat...
