Oh, the Card Creator has had a bunch of updates since this video, including the often asked or 9th ability on the card. So you can add in the new reaction, it's not there by default, just tick the 9th ability and make sure you choose one of the no-line backgrounds.
Really good video! I've been playing with cards similarly to the way you are. My hero/fighter cards are mounted on chip board and any specific abilities they have are included on the card below the fighter info (although this does make the cards different sizes). I used the card images from the compendium and then just photoshooped them together with the ability. I had been thinking about a way to track items. I'm totally going to uhhh "borrow" yours. With the ability to show injuries, heroic traits etc by the same mechanism is pure genius. Thank you!
I do lkke the idea of keeping the abilities for the fighter nice and tight. The card creator can now do smaller size format if you only tick the first 3 abilities. I've found this handy for thralls and allies!
Tome of Champions 2021 has a narrative campaign called The Rat Hunters. It's for two players, but it's co-op against a swarm of Skaven, so you could easily play it solo. The 'AI' table for the rats is pretty basic, but it looks like a fun campaign.

So you're saying that in Narrative Play, non-Warcry-specific factions are still hamstrung by only being able to choose one 'hero' out of the 5-8 they have during warband creation while the Warcry-specific factions can use literally every fighter on their roster.
The non-bespoke warbands just have more options, I wouldn't say they're hamstrung in narrative. Even in matched play you're limited to 3 heroes and your 2 non-heroes can be from outside your warband list. What's nice about the bespoke warbands is they're designed to work out of the box, unfortunately that means optimising them often means having to buy a second box where with a non-bespoke warband you'd just buy a single box of the fighter you want lots of (Graveguard for Soulblight for example)
Download the free warcry rules and fighter profiles from warhammer community. Have a read through and see what warbands take your fancy. Many of the warbands have warcry boxes that are a grear start and those that dont often have start collecting boxes that are perfect. Im real tempted to get the start collecting flesh eater courts which is has the models for a fantastic warband including the zombie dragon!
This is great! Informative and I love the way you've laid out the graphics.
Thanks for the very informative video and solid production. Well done!
Thanks for making this!
Thanks for watching!

Amazing work as always!

Great video, thanks very much. I thought you were saying trolls rather than thralls though because of your accent 😂
😂 the destruction trolls are thralls so its all good!
With narrative play, why haven't they added solo rules?

How did you make fighter pictures? What format did you use during card creation?
