- What is the highest possible high-score in Super Mario Maker 2? We already tried to answer this question in the original Super Mario Maker, and we were able to get a decent score. But now that Super Mario Maker 2 is finally released it is time to use all the new Super Mario Maker 2 items, and to try to push for the ultimate high score in Super Mario Maker 2!

This solution is not for a single level, but with the new Endless Challenge it is theoretically possible to get the highest score, because the score is always saved. But: It's theoretical!
I wonder what score the #1 easy player is at.
actually... I just found a method to get 200k points per reload...

@@adamzero_ I also found a way to get 204k per reload (right after the video released lol). If you used any different tech, we might be able to do even better together.

Nintendo can delete levels from your personal offline levels? That's messed up
It wasn't deleted, the game just does a check to see if you glitched it up and prevents you from saving it. Though, there is a way around it.
@JAMESON DUNCAN There was a reply to one of the top comments in Icay's video that described how to do it, at the time I was watching it.

I think the score could be improved ever so slightly by killing the bowsers with different pow blocks, rather than with the same one.
Here's my reasoning:
If a bowser is the first enemy killed, it will give 7900 (8000 - 100) points more than if it were, say, a goomba
If a bowser is the second enemy killed, however, it will only give 7800 points more (8000 - 200)
3rd - 7600
4th & beyond doesn't matter
This means we are technically loosing out on 400 points/reload that we could get by having all bowsers be killed as first enemies
This might also apply to Boom-Booms, but I'm not familiar enough with how they score to know for certain
Yeah I thought about this too! The problem is, that it is super weird how Bowsers are calculated when they are defeated as a part of a set of 7. They always count as the last kill except when the other enemies are stacked. Then they are calculated before the stacked enemies. The problem is that everything is so crammed, since we entangle 8 pow-blocks, so that I wasn't able to fit stacks of munchers in.
@@CeaveGaming I've managed to get 204000 points per reload with a better layout, hitting the part limit. Just stack them vertically; they load top-to-bottom. PM me @Veedrac on Reddit if you need more info.

“ITS SURPRISINGLY SIMPLE”
If u do multiplayer then u can max the counter out and have time to spare
Doshi that’s what I was thinking he would do
Actually, there is one glaring problem with that idea. The timer never freezes in multiplayer, so you would need a whole new method that probably wouldn’t even do as much
You would be correct, although the timer still passes during load times in multiplayer, local Multiplayer is one I'm not sure of.
Hey Doshi you have a very unique idea, but its wrong for both multiplayer modes. Console Co-op has the game acts like a New Super Mario game. All players must remain on the same screen. Maybe he could find a way to get more points, but that would require someone to move around to activate a absolute powsplosion a little bit away, but that would slow everything down because all players must enter the same pipe or door. For online vs/Co-op and Local Vs items like power ups re spawn after a little bit, while enemys take a long time to re-spawn. A small thing to is that rapid reloading wont work anymore, so it work even be close to working anymore. Its surprisingly simple.

Hi Ceave! So do you remember your seemingling impossible levels video and your clown car randomization video and your shell controlling video? Well I got an idea for combining all those Ideas into one seemingly impossible level! So you told us that the players move set can interpret clown car randomization. So my idea is that you build a giant clown car randomizer and only 1 move set will trigger clown cars so that it puts a pow block or a spring above the shell so the shell hits a on/off block which allows the player to go into a door which would drop them onto the goal flag. And if the player didn't do the right move set the shell would hit a p switch and would turn the floor into deadly coins! Well that's my idea. I really hope you can make this happen and put it in to a video. Btw. I love your content! :)
