Kabir was a 15th century bhakti poet of north India who defied the boundaries between Hindu and Muslim. He had a Muslim name and upbringing, but his poetry repeatedly invokes the widely revered Hindu name for God - Ram. Who is Kabir’s Ram? The film ‘Had Anhad’ journeys through song and poem into the politics of religion, and finds a myriad answers on both sides of the hostile border between India and Pakistan.

Think about it. Fareed Ayaz was born in India in 1952, in Hyderabad. four years later they moved to Karachi. He was a celebrity musician while he was still in college. He lived more than half a century dedicating himself to soofi music. He lived it thinking reading and reciting the philosophy of it. He is soofi music personified. He read about Kabir, lived with Kabir,n thought like Kabir, sang like Kabir throughout the life. What a marvellous life...!
