A lot of study is done before this interview. Or else people ask such silly questions. I remember a person asked pt. Bhimsen ji apko khane mein kya accha lagta hai. And so many questions about his family. Who likes music who not,, I was like 🙁. You are wasting a golden opportunity.

I've never seen an interview where the intellectual intimacy of both the interviewer and interviewee is BRILLIANTTTTT. Ofc don't even need to mention how mind-blowing Fareed Ayaz Sahab is. But to bring so much knowledge, wisdom, and gold out is also brilliantly done by Irfan Sahab. UFFF
As Fareed sahib said he is a student and as such he has added in the knowledge of other students through this interview by imparting knowledge. In the same vein Waheed Joyo's argument is also interesting. Since "Ali" is from Arabastan and in sufi traditions Arabic, Persian, and language of the land were mixed together. I feel one can take poetic license to understand it as what would give them more pleasure. i am glad that this interview was conducted and published!

As Fareed sahib said he is a student and as such he has added in the knowledge of other students through this interview by imparting knowledge. In the same vein Waheed Joyo's argument is also interesting. Since "Ali" is from Arabastan and in sufi traditions Arabic, Persian, and language of the land were mixed together. I feel one can take poetic license to understand it as what would give them more pleasure. i am glad that this interview was conducted and published!
