Blue Angels complete necessary landing certification ahead of Cherry Festival

The National Cherry Festival Airshow in Traverse City almost went without the Blue Angels this year.
The Angels said they were struggling to find an airfield that would allow them to certify their planes arresting gear, which is a ground cable that hooks a plane in an emergency landing situation.
