- Ubisoft flew me out to Los Angeles to take part on their exclusive Ubisoft Forward event, which showcased many of their most anticipated games releasing later this year, with some scheduled for 2026. At the event, I was able to go hands on with Star Wars: Outlaws and had the opportunity to also check out their biggest tittle, Assassins Creed Shadows!
In this video I will be taking you through the days of the trip, and also what I thought about the games themselves, starting with Assassins Creed Shadows.

I love your positivity, it's a breath of fresh air when people can just enjoy these experiences for what they are. I had the pleasure of attending a Ubisoft event in Sydney before the pandemic and went with a friend, it was very memorable and they had a lot of really nice artwork displays from various games including armour on mannequins from AC Odyssey. They also had a showcase for various games including Beyond Good and Evil 2 which I really hope sees the light one day.

Looks like Ubisoft is going all in on this one, so I'm trying to keep hope alive. Ghost of Tsushima, Rise of the Ronin, Ubisoft has had great inspirations to perfect this game. So far, I've been loving what I've been seeing.

Congrats on the invite and in terms of stealth I hope you can assassinate enemies when you grapple onto a ceiling indoors hovering over an enemy. It was a missed opportunity during the showcase. Also I hope the parkour is similar to unity. Unity parkour with that grappling hook would go crazy. About Yasuke his gameplay looks really stiff imo. Then again ever since origins all AC rpg games have felt really stiff with the combat.
It’s confirmed you can assassinate when you are doing that.
My main concern at the moment is yasuke gameplay too it just needs to be smoothed out a little then it’ll be good to go. I’ve watched some unity clips and that games parkour is just insane bro

I really hate the black and white animation screen that happens when you use a special ability or kill a target. For me it ruins the whole experience. Completely takes you out of the game. We definitely need an option to turn that crap off.
It's a reference to Japanese cinema. You won't be able to remove it.
