    The energy savings by one unit being able to cool so many branches must be stunning! Up to 38 Tons capacity?! The only drawback I can think of is the lack of redundancy means many unhappy people when it needs repair vs 1

    I thought appliances were getting tough. Looks like the tubing is thick, hopefully that's the case. Imo split style systems should only be installed by someone that went through traing from the equipments manufacturers. Nothing like getting an after hours call on one of these where the homeowner over torqued the damn fittings or didn't have nitrogen to do a pressure test. Then they flip out when you tell them how much it costs to correct.

    3:09 - Think I’ma get one of those hyper VRF’s for my 140sqft room. Should get me a nice arctic blast in that 100°F heat upstairs. I want it snowing! ⛄️

    Craig, Just wondering if you could answer a question about my C&H unit, much appreciated. I sent this message to C&H technical support but they did not respond to my message, maybe because I'm a homeowner asking.
    I have a C&H CH-HPR24-230VO outdoor unit and a CH-M234AHU air handler. I'm not using the C&H communicating thermostat, instead using an Ecobee 3 lite tstat.
    When in heat mode I set the thermostat to fan ON, the fan doesn't turn on. The Ecobee also has a feature to keep the fan running for a period of time after the set temperature is reached, Ecobee calls it a cool down period. When I set the fan to ON or in the cool down period I verified the G terminal is at 24 volts.
    I'm thinking that the fan might be controlled by the board in the air handler and not solely by the G terminal ?

    Omg, hvac companies should have a mandatory in-house training on these systems.

    Good video, but 2 things that could have been easily avoided are negatively impacting its overall quality and teaching value:
    1) As already mentioned, video should be in LANDSCAPE mode, please
    2) Please, DO NOT GO SO FAST. You are not making this video for people who already know what you are presenting.

    What I would give to have that kind of compressor access on Airstage VRF systems.

    Let's say, if you 3 zones and one of the zone breaks down, all the zones also, go down. 3:40 Do you think having such a multi-zone is a good idea?

    • @Sctronic209
      @Sctronic209 6 місяців тому +2

      If one zone goes down the others will continue to operate.
