I follow Eurovision since 2004 and I was never a ballad type. I heard this and it hit me like a ton of bricks. It was brilliant. His song Respondez-Moi from 2020 (the contenst was cancelled) might arguably have been even better and a contender to win.

But only if there is a version with subtitles You must remember their are still US-Americans, who cN not really grab the concept of „a little bit peace“ and usually not at least entirely appreciate a song without understanding wat is actually the massage or the translation

"Professionals"... Our country's jury had two members that previously entered the ESC. One ended 19th, the other didn't make it through the semi-final. They make music professionally, yes. But that doesn't make them good jury members.

I also would highly recommend Aminata’s performance of „Love Injected“ as Latvias competition entrance in 2015 (sadly the song was way ahead of his time back then and got not many points from both public and jury, but would have been extremely successful just 2 or 3 later or even today…
I would argue that 8:40 is a very heady/ head dominant mix. A falsetto usually isn't this powerful, hence it is "false" head voice. He is definitely mixing but since it is such a high note, he can't push/support so much from the chest. Ps: I love the eurovision series. Please do more Eurovision :P

This was my number two that year(my winner was the actual winner that year), his first entry from 2020 was my winner that year, but sadly the 2020 contest got cancelled because of the covid pandemic, but a lot of the artists from 2020 were selected to represent their respective countries again in 2021 with a new song, and I'm so glad Switzerland chose to send Gjons Tears again, he is an amazing performer.
Would not really listen to this song but I would still give it a 10/10 for the quality act it is. 2021 Eurovision was definitely one of my favorites. Guys, if you are thinking of reacting to a German singer, I highly recommend to react to Helene Fischer, the schlager queen of Germany. I can make a top five of her most iconic songs especially for you, or performances in duet with international artists, so you can enjoy her versatility. She can sing almost any genre. Wait, is a forceful falsetto something impressive? To me, it’s *so* much easier to belt out really forceful notes in falsetto than in normal chest voice. Is this not normal?
This song is pretty nice, but for me bit overated…my favorites from this year were 6th, 5th and first, also 4th was good. This and the next one were bit plah for me in the end, even though they are nice.

This song is pretty nice, but for me bit overated…my favorites from this year were 6th, 5th and first, also 4th was good. This and the next one were bit plah for me in the end, even though they are nice.
