Fitted 4 bosch multi splits recently, actually the main heat source and obviously the benefit of cooling in summer. Builder loves them. Great vid as usual. Van wrap is on point! Excellent

Vans look good, I would maybe get some QR codes linking directly to the website on there just takes some friction out when people want to get to the site whilst walking past or stopped in traffic.

Cheers pal, QR codes are a good idea 👊🏻

The new wrap is much more on point Ryan.
I think the Bonnet logo for RJM would be better in Black and a bit bigger. It will tie in with the door logos then.
Definitely get the pipe tube lettered, preferably just RJMartindale or the website, they stand out on the road and people will see the “ need a new boiler “ and the name if they are alongside in traffic.
Good marketing for Vanliners with the seat covers on the drive back from Wrap 🤣

Funny you say that about the bonnet, because the wrap has come out lighter at the front I think the black would be a good move 👊🏻
We are sorting the racks next week, looking forward to that - we will test out the lettering
Some set up van liners have got now !

Why would you cut off the flares off ? Did you purge with OFN, you will void warranty if you didn’t of equipment.
Did you pressure test the system ?
Did you vacuum the system out and preform a rise test ?
Personally plumbers that do a 1 day course and think they can become a refrigeration / air conditioning engineer 😡 is a disaterer waiting to happen !

      Cheers Alan,
      In answer to your questions…
-We don’t like compression in walls, brazed joints are stronger in our opinion
      -It’s Vac’d and tested 👍🏻
      -The course was 3 days
-We are gas engineers, not just plumbers 😉
Jokes aside, In business we must adapt to the seasons, we now install an additional 30 simple, single splits to top up our boiler installs
I also have some very experienced HVAC specialists in our network 👊🏻

Did you purge when you brazed ? To stop carbon build up ? It can cause premature compressor failure and I guarantee that the leading manufacturer cut open the compressor and will know. Also it’s called a flare joint not a compression joint in refrigeration and it’s as strong as brazing. Also are you on the f gas register ? REFCOM?
Also 3 days is a joke when we had to do 5years 😂 training don’t get me wrong you heating and gas engineers have your training in your field and you should stick to that not somthing you don’t know about

I can understand your frustration but the skills are transferable Alan
I wanted my engineers F-gas first as we progress into heat pumps
In terms of sticking to what I know, I know and understand business, and boilers alone are not good enough
With the implementation of Air Con - 2 years ago, we no longer have a drop in sales through summer
