That was a really nice and very professional video. "Gentle" encapsulates it nicely. I prefer a quieter keyboard because I work in a very quiet office but it sounds great, especially the spacebar/ghostbar! I would recommend this video to Nuphy to help advertise the keyboard if you haven't already.
Hi!! Thank you for leaving such a nice comment 🌞It's really encouraging to hear that you enjoyed the style of the video. I have shared this with NuPhy already in fact, so they are aware! Thank you for watching and hope to see you in another one!
Very informative video. I've seen general keyboard reviews saying that typing audio doesn't really mean anything and i get it now, thanks for putting in both the camera mic and stereo recording! Now I'm even more confused 😂
Thank you for watching! It is true that the recording can sound quite different, but I would say that in reality, it sounds somewhere in the middle between the camera mic and stereo recording! The other thing to keep in mind is that the stereo recorder is placed much closer to the keyboard than the camera mic is, so the stereo recorder would be more similar to you having your ear right up to the keyboard. Distance-wise, the camera mic would be more accurate for the amount of "space" between your ears and the keyboard on your desk. If you listen to as many sound tests as you can (from other videos as well), that should give you a good impression of what the board will sound like. Just be wary of extremely compressed recordings or ones done on too many desk mats/a surface that's too soft!
Thanks for the amazing video. I just ordered a brown switch version since the baby kangaroo option was unavailable on Amazon. Quick question: do the 'Night Breeze' switches have a mushy feeling? I loved the sound of them, but I'm a bit hesitant as I'm not a huge fan of the red and silent red linear switches.
Thank you for watching! I didn't find them mushy at all, but it sounds like you generally don't prefer linear switches so they may still not be a great option for you! I believe they have a similar weight to red switches, but the Night Breeze switches have a long stem pole so they may help them feel snappier. Hope this helps!
@@TAZAKEY i bought the keychron q6 pro and had it exchanged twice. I l really liked that board but it had a fault. Nuphys advantages for me are the north facing leds, less weird profile keycaps, 2.4ghz wireless, stock option with BBK switches. I hope they made a 100% one
I believe it's possible to change the lighting to be a single color, if not by default, then through their application. Not so sure about the Halo lighting though (the ring around the board).
If you are open to lubing, that's definitely going to make them sound less poppy and more thocky, as well as smoothen out any harshness from the tactility. The BBK switches are a pretty solid tactile option in my opinion!
@@TAZAKEY one thing I can't find out is, are they are short and sharp tactile where they feel like a linear switch with a sharp bump at the top? Or do they have a large round bump that starts at the top and finishes at near bottom-out?
It is a shame that the standard keyboard now is not as well built as those in the 80s. But keeping in mind inflation, the keyboards from back then were actually not that affordable (probably $600-$700 in today's dollar). Thank you for watching 🌞

Very beautiful and magical looking with all the colours and lights! 🎉 I do prefer a quieter keyboard for my personal choice 😊❤
Thank you much for the sound test. ❤

woww, simple yet interesting. I love that you guys doing the waving at the end haha
Thank you for the comment!! Haha yes this one was a joint effort - I'm glad you enjoyed it!

hehehe... 😁
@@TAZAKEY hahaha😄
Just got this boeard with the Roses. Love it!
It's a good one for sure! Thank you for watching and leaving a comment 😉
I hope for a 100% layout version, or this with a doublesize 0 key at least
100% layout keyboards seem quite rare these days, but maybe one day we'll get one from NuPhy!

Very nice video. What is your favorite switches and why?
My favorite switch is actually Topre haha...
But my favorite MX switch at the moment would have to be Boba U4Ts
Thank you for the question!! 🌞
@@TAZAKEY I have not heard of those. I am looking it up right now! thank you
@@phuongtrang280No problem! Let me know if you have any other questions!
really nice review 👍
Thank you for watching!! 😁😁
from those switches , which one the heaviest and the ligthest switch ?
The rose glaciers should be the heaviest and the night breeze are the lightest. Thank you for the question!
So there is no way of turning off the 'disco mode', and have it in a stationary non-animated one color light (white or yellow)?
I believe it's possible to change the lighting to be a single color, if not by default, then through their application. Not so sure about the Halo lighting though (the ring around the board).
@@TAZAKEY Thanks.
Is there a 60% version of this keyboard?
Unfortunately only a 65% version of it (Halo65). There is an Air60 from NuPhy but that's a low profile option!
My mind blown 06:03 😍
It's a good looking board with all the lighting for sure! 🌞
I only want the keycaps lol
It's a big part of what makes these boards attractive, so I can definitely relate! It's a shame they don't sell these separately..
Same-
i was keen on the BBK switches, but they are too clicky/poppy for me. hmm

@@CThienV It's closer to a "sharp" tactile feeling - the force curve peaks at 0.5mm and then drops significantly afterward!
These were hold old keyboards were made as standard. Now they want to sell them at a premium makes no sense!
