I wonder how both Hagakure’s parents found each other, that's a love story I'd read. Or they might be related, in which case, nevermind
deadass alabama
bottomless alabama
Oh you nasty 😂
"insert Quagmire joke here"
*Invisible confusion*
I think another reason Midoriya wants to help Aoyama is because he's sees a bit of himself in Aoyama. Bakugo said it best: Aoyama was a Quirkless kid who was granted a Quirk just like Midoriya. If their lives were switched, if the roles were reversed, if Midoriya had met All For One rather than All Might, who's to say Midoirya wouldn't be in the same situation Aoyama's in? Forced to betray the people he cares about to keep his family safe even as the guilt eats away at his conscience.
Anyone else reminded of rui (the spider demon from demon slayer) where his parents were sorry they couldn't give him a strong body, and where willing to kill themselves after killing him. They were willing to go to hell with him to take bare part of his punishment.
Aoyama was in pain thats so sad.
@@jaye8708 tht actually kinda reminds of this
True but I doubt deku be same I mean if All For alone was watching kid then he watch deku aswell as he see deku asking all might his Question and ends broken afo smile as he have two great tools first is shiggy then deku he probz make deku into perfect villain one who bare his fangs at world that thrown him down. Lucky that never happened tho.
Isn't there a fan comic about that?
Oh, my goodness. I just realized. When Aoyama was training in the camp, notice how he’s shooting his bellybutton laser to the sky. It could be a way to signal the villains where exactly in the forest they were. Cause remember in the Hero License Exam, he used his bellybutton laser to get everyone’s attention.
Colossal brain right there
DAMN
That’s what I thought too
I mean thats exactly what Plot Armor was saying during that clip in the video.
Well, the instructors might have also suggested he do that simply so he doesn't blast tunnels through the forest. But yeah, he probably used it as a signal flare as well. Two ideas merging for different reasons.
I was expecting to be mad at the traitor but when it was Aoyoma, and why he did it, I feel bad. The way I see his reasons for those actions are the same way I look at Ochako's reasons for being a hero. Family. She's becoming a hero so she can allow her family to live comfortably since she grew up poor. She's willing to put herself through hell just so her parents can have a good life when they get older. Aoyoma betrayed everyone because he wanted his parents to live. He didn't want to have his parents murdered in cold blood because they tried to make him happy.
It's a crappy situation that makes nobody happy. I am just hoping that he makes this out okay.
I think the reason it hits so hard for people is the fact that they can relate to it. In the sense that u would probably do the same thing if it was to protect the ones u love from being killed.
He is still the reason the best character in the whole show died midnight forever f*ck ayoma

@@asahibiswas1411 Aoyama: I think Izuku forgave me
aoyama: but now they know I’m the traitor
Aoyama was probably felt guilty and disgusted with himself. He did try to give up at the license exam so he most likely thought he was not allowed to become a hero.
I honestly feel bad for Aoyama bc he clearly cared for his friends but his desire to keep his family safe outweighed the care he had for his classmates and friends
I feel bad for Aoyama, too. Like he’s in an impossible situation.
nah more like he saw that as an escape route so he wouldn't have to work under AFO anymore. That's why he got mad when he was being saved and given a chance to pass.
@@OmegaQuinn nn
he's not a villan, he's just trying to protect his family
Man i also feel bad for Ayoyama's parents, they just wanted good for their child and not him becoming ostracized because of not having a quirk....the scene where little Ayoyama asks his parents "why is he different than the others while crying" shows why they did what they did....they just wanted their child to be happy, i hope nothing bad happens to them
@P Pierre there is no mention whatsoever of Aoyama even ever wanting to be a hero though. He had rich parents and was basically set for life and likely wouldn't have bothered even attending UA if it wasn't for AFO ordering him to attend because of a rumour that All Might would be teaching there. The only reason he even got a quirk was so that he didn't end up being an outcast (which is obviously due to discrimination, just look at 4 year old Izuku being isolated when they announced he was quirkless it was only Katsuki who bullied him for wanting to be a hero). Even in moments dealing with Aoyama's character, all he ever wished for was being able to fit in (the provisional license exam).
@P Pierre Even if 99% of society has no use for a quirk the population for quirkless people is already like 10%. And we see from episode one that characters that dont have powers are treated like shit. Just because he's normal doesn't mean he'd be something. In fact being normal would have made life harder.
@P Pierre just because it has nothing to do with the livelihood of the people doesn't mean there won't be any discrimination involved. Throughout human history, if there is one thing that is constant it is that being different from the masses will get you discriminated against. Disabled people were (and still are) often discriminated against and sometimes even purged throughout several authoritarian regimes, including Nazi Germany and being quirkless essentially means being disabled in MHA universe.
@P Pierre that is basically what being quirkless is, being different from the masses, about 80 to 90% of people in mha have a quirk, a literal superhuman society, SUPERHUMAN, so being quirkless is being different from the masses and is pretty much a dissability, and quirks didn't appear in this generation, quirks have been around for SEVERAL generations (cause if quirks appeared in this generation then All For One would'nt be a 180 to 200 year old man, One For All would'nt be such a powerful quirk, and most of the strongest modern quirks would'nt even exist, like New Order which is a reality warping quirk, REALITY WARPING!!!)
@P Pierre They have quirks, there is a police officer with one and his sister shares a similar ability. The thing that happened to Deku has most likely happened to many kids who wanted to aim some sort of dream, but got shot down later due to specifics (it technically happens even to normal people with weak quirks).
I more so think that Deku’s “villain label” is more commenting on the fact it’s very black and white in their society. A desperate thief trying to survive is equaled to someone like Dabi which is a bit unfair. There’s also the thought he meant the idea of being manipulated shouldn’t be completely pushed onto the victim’s identity, the Hero Commission isn’t far from something like this themselves. A third option is like the video, he’s just trying to get Aoyama onto their side as a tactic of some kind. No matter what it’s a lot easier to say “no one should be labeled a villain for committing a crime” rather than getting into the nuances of all of it in a panel.
I for one think Deku meant that if you regret your actions, you are willing to repent and do good things and be a good person then why should we continue to call you a villain because villains continuously make people's life a living hell with no thought of empathy like AFO or Dabi
Your actions are dictated by your nature just as much as external factors, and once someone's shown themselves to be capable of betrayal, it indicates a fatal defect of character that is likely to lead to the same betrayal in the future if the same conditions are replicated.
What happens if AFO decides to kidnap Aoyama's parents and forces him to betray his friends again? He's already demonstrated that he will place his family above them. He can no longer be trusted, and nothing short of a complete character reversal will change that.
@@lobsterminion693 Bakugo once used an attack during training that could have killed or crippled Deku if he hadn't dodged it. Does that mean that Bakugo can't be trusted to not murder a classmate in the future?
@@lobsterminion693 but people can change

Me too. I love Aoyama and have since the beginning. Knowing this I don't think it's really his fult either, it's his paresnt yeah he wasn't born with a quirk but his parents are the one that got him into this mess, ,he was protecting his parents doing what he did. I still love Aoyama and I feel bad for him.
People will clown Deku for saying that one crime should not make you a villain for the rest of your life, but I love that he has taken such a controversial stance. If he is going to be the greatest hero, he needs to develop strong convictions about his world and stand by them in the face of inevitable opposition.
Remember what Shigaraki told the heroes during the war? "I know you can't understand. That's what makes us heroes and villains." What is a hero? What is a villain? Deku has seen with his own eyes Endeavor -- the number 1 hero -- push himself to atone for his past abuse. He has also seen good people like Gentle Criminal and Nagant be led down the wrong path by their own despair. He knows that the categories of "villains" and "heroes" at times blur into each other. The hero society has created this neat binary opposition between heroes and villains, where people who find themselves in the deepest pits of despair desperately latch on to the "villain" identity because nothing else will work for them. Deku seems to have decided that one way to reform the hero society is to redefine heroism and deconstruct villainy as concepts. Heroes have dehumanized villains for too long without trying to understand what led them down that path while themselves maintaining a false sense of moral purity. I mean, Nagant was allowed to kill petty criminals in the name of hero work.
Of course Deku will still put criminals in prison. Even Nagant and Gentle had to be arrested because, at the end of the day, they are responsible for their actions. The point is that Deku wants to understand what can bring relief to that despair which births villains in the first place. For instance, if Toga had not been treated as a hopeless monster after her first criminal act and instead seen as somebody who needed to be treated and rehabilitated for her profound mental condition caused by her quirk, she may not have felt the need to lean so far into her violent tendencies. In Aoyama's case, he was so full of self-loathing and helplessness after being found out that he attacked Deku and called himself a villain -- the worst thing he can think of calling himself. Deku knows that this is his one chance to stop him from becoming another Nagant or Gentle Criminal. To be a villain is to be hopeless because your first crime becomes your destiny. If Deku can help Aoyama see that he still has a future despite his crime, he can save him from that cruel destiny.
Makes you wonder: what if Deku had been the one to confront Twice? Could he have found a way to reach him?
Sorry but nobody's reading that

People really be giving Hagakure a lot of flak. Plus she was able to come up with different uses for her quirk like stunning people and redirecting light.
She's just working with what she's got as a background character with invisibility.
Since lightning has light does that mean she can also redirect it? Or just plain light works?

Aoyama is exactly what deku could’ve been if he never met all might
Aoyama is Deku without a miracle, Aoyama is a more realistic version of Deku.
His parents wanted him to be happy he would have faced the same thing Deku did before he got One for All
@P Pierre they didn't choose to make him a villain they wanted him to fullfil his dream of being a hero but they made a deal with All for One which just didn't turn out well for them it's mentioned in the video
I doubt it. Deku would've still tried to become a hero without a quirk. In fact, that was originally what he was going to be; a quirkless hero with gadgets. Deku's mom wouldn't have taken some random quirk from strangers and Deku wouldn't betray his comrades. He was willing to try to save Bakugou despite not having a quirk. THAT'S why All Might chose him, after all.
I see kota there to support midoriya.
Support him after what?
I don't think Aoyama should get punished for his crime but rather sent to a psychological rehabilitation center. He was used since childhood and a Kid cannot tell wrong from right from the get go. By the time Aoyama became a teenager it was already too late cause he was a traitor for most of his life but things have been forced upon him by AFO and his family. In my opinion, the most realistic treatment in regards to Aoyama becoming a hero would be :
1 :Therapy center > He is able to face his actions and not get traumatised for life about this
2 : See 1A's view of things and maybe change Aoyama of school or class once he comes back of the therapy center
3 : Remove his quirk and make him be a hero on his own as a redemption by only using support items (It would make a nice redemption spin off unrelated to the end of the serie)
Nope he deserves jail. Idk why people think he shouldn't. Not like he was deaf and blind throughout the series. Plus he didn't come clean, he got caught.
Plus bad decisions are not psychological problems most times. I guess everyone even afo shouldn't be punished then.
@@cheshirenadidethklok883 "Idk why people think he shouldn't." Maybe because he was forced? Aoyama don't want to betray everyone, he was forced to do it. He's been under AFO's control since he was 5, constantly having to worry for his parents' lives. He only did it to protect his family, that's not something he should be condemned for. Especially since using people is what AFO does, he takes advantage of them and gets them under his thumb, then he uses them for all their worth. Imagine being in that position and tell me you wouldn't do what Aoyama did. Aoyam's just as much a victim as anyone else.
@@jorienwachukwu466 He still deserves jail. He is a victim sure, yet he still made choices that led to injury and indirect death. He was in the hero course like everyone else which makes his silence worse then his parents. Nothing you said means he should resume as a hero or be without actual legal consequence. Forgiven? Eh no, I wouldn't forgive him. Empathized with? Absolutely.
Also you are forgetting he still ultimately cared only for himself and his parents which I understand. Yet multiple deaths, injuries, casualties, escaped villains, stolen quicks, and Japan being completely destroyed and demoralized still didn't get him to do the right thing. He got caught and couldn't lie anymore.
He can redeem himself from this point forward which includes jail. And no he can't still be a hero.
@@cheshirenadidethklok883 by your logic, a 3 year old who accidentally stabs another 3 year Olds eye out should be sentenced to 20 years in prison. Jeez bro. The parents are to blame, not the child.
@@cheshirenadidethklok883 By your mindset, you would never become a hero. Putting Aoyama in jail instead of helping him emotionally and psychologically through rehabilitation centers would never make him redeem himself. In fact, it will only make things worse as Aoyama would probably be afflicted with depression or negatively influenced by the prisoners he is with. Remember, people aren't as black and white as "oh this is the good thing to do so i must do it even though me and my family will probably be killed just so my classmates who I'm not even remotely close to will get to live". And remember that even Endeavor was shook and couldn't think clearly when Natsu was held hostage by a villain precisely because he cares for his family. This is the same case for Aoyama, and this is just a TEENAGER we're talking about, not even a full-fledged ADULT. He cares too much for his family and that's why his judgment is faltered. You can't just put people to jail just by the action alone without considering the circumstances that led to that action bruh
Decent chapter, and we got to see Deku despite being hurt about this revelation do an all might parallel. I question now how will the Aoyama’s get out of this if AFO can dispose of them easily. Though this bombshell is gonna hurt everyone big time regardless and Deku looks a little more upset than he’s willing to let on.
Hagakure's face just looks cute, although I wonder if the creator can somehow show off her face more often.
Edit: Just reading the manga made me realize that the creator unintentionally made Midoriya's personality sorta similar to Peter Parker AKA Spider Man as in, he knows people who have done wrong in their life can make a 180 in certain circumstances.

tough situation for sure for everyone involved
What he did was unquestionably wrong. He should have come clean, asked for protective services for his parents, and then not betrayed his friends who trusted him. Committing an evil act, regardless of intent, is still an evil act.
In the end, you are responsible for your own actions and no one else's. If a criminal threatens someone you love and tells you to commit a horrible crime, to follow the criminal's command and harm innocents is an act of cowardice and selfishness, and the blood on your hands is on your ledger, not the criminal's.
A coward capitulates to evil, while a good man fights it at every turn. This is true for everyone, not just "heroes".

Aoyama is a kid being threatened by the most bastardous villain to ever exist, your black and white point of view its really childish, to ignore context in such a way. Fear isn't something everyone is fit to overcome
Dekus words actually make sense.
For example, theres a poor family with barely any money and one of the sons decides to steal money or food to save the family. Yes he comitted a crime but his reason was to save his family. Same thing with aoyama, he snitched so that afo wouldnt do anything to him and his parents
The students reaction is totally understandable..more so because they haven't been in aoyama's shoes..
When they learn about the whole situation I'm sure they will welcome him back with open arms..and all that hostility and "hate" which mostly comes from fear and not able to process what is going on will slowly fade away..
I wouldn't say none of them, Bakugo was DANGEROUSLY close of joining the villains, unlike Sasuke. Bakugo stayed true to his Hero Way and was saved before he could be killed. I think Bakugo understands Aoyama only for a little bit since we see him not as pissed as everyone else
I wouldn't say it would just fade away, but they'll probably be willing to give him a chance. After all, he really didn't have many options that could keep him and his parents safe and it's pretty clear he didn't want to betray them, and at the end of the day they all did genuinely become friends.

just like yoda said, "fear leads to anger. anger leads to hate. hate leads to suffering."
Deku got through to Gentle. Aoyama is already shaken to his core. Deku has a LOT of practicing to do to reform villains which seems to be his goal. Reach the seemingly unreachable. Aoyama is the easy one. And there are a NUMBER of villains that can be reached in the right circumstance. I don’t THINK he will properly reach Shigaraki. I think that he will have to kill him. At least once he’s willing to die to save himself from AFO
We know AFO is referring to the Aoyama’s as the disposable pawn. But they can’t be a functioning traitor without contacting him. And until that’s revealed how, they are not dangerous by any stretch as they have no fail safes. Heck, Aoyama proved why his quirk isn’t helpful at all. They’ve seen so many of their kind put down before their eyes of being disposed of. Proving just how many have been in that boat over the past decade. 4 of those years AFO was healthy no less. But for the other 6 to still feel that way must be petrifying. The guy had his face knocked off and to see his whole system to still be in place would cause ANYONE to feel that helpless.
Hagakure isolating Deku is the most suspicious thing she has done in context of the order, but judging by the context of last chapter, I really don’t think it means anything other than she needed backup and chose Deku because if anyone needs to know immediately they were being spied on its Deku as the OFA holder. (Just have to point that out because people STILL think it’s her.) I’m happy to see her so upset. I want her to have an emotional moment. Now that she’s seen perhaps she can be SOMEWHAT more important in the next step. Plans need to be made. And she’s going to be helpful.
And Nezu, who were you trying to herd out of the room just now? I’m afraid. All-Might is not holding himself together. Tsukauchi looks EXHAUSTED. But Nezu still looks like he hasn’t deteriorated at all with the crazy events occurring. Also the blind spot in the cameras implies faculty involvement. I’m VERY frightened. This may just be extra context for Aoyama today, but BOY is there a lot of nuance to this dysfunctional plan. It’s as if AFO chose Aoyama because if Deku lost it’d show how little chance he has against the big man himself.
But there’s another option apparently VERY close to this one for AFO to choose. And it’s pointed from the 1st order. All-Might is going to be a teacher at UA. Go to UA. Tell me? How many people knew All-Might was going to be a teacher months in advance? Who OFFERED the job? Likely pulling strings so he didn’t need to get a teaching license? Who SAW All-Might injured and talking to All-Might about successors and OFFERED the place to find one? Nezu things are getting MUCH worse for you and it’s PETRIFYING when you take action.
Also need to point this out now. Any villains captured is IRRELEVANT. AFO is out and about, and he has the vomit warp that can get people he knows well too his location. If he boosts himself, he could summon Gigantomachia and Kurogiri and others with a mere thought. He just hasn’t felt the need to.
My hope for Nezu being the traitor is growing stronger each chapter. The points you made about him, which I did not pay attention too because I was distracted with all the emotion in this chapter, are very accurate.
To be honest, my biggest hope is that the final fight starts off with Nezu trying to isolate Deku using the security system. Aoyama was told to do it, so certainly Nezu was too, and unlike Aoyama, Nezu has the resources and willpower to succeed. Not only will it be epic and an amazing plot twist if Nezu does do this, but it will be a great start to the fight, as class A will work their butts off trying to find Deku before he is killed and robbed of OFA. This also is an excuse to get what you yourself are hoping for. For All Might to fight AFO while Deku prepares.
If Deku does end up isolated, he will most definitely get injured, knowing him, and will need some sort of pause to get himself together and ready to fight again. This is where All Might, and his inevitable death would likely come in. When All Might does die, I predict one of two things will happen.
1. Deku will see AM’s death and just be absolutely shattered.
2. Class A will distract Deku before he notices AM’s death and will use this distraction to move All Mights body, and will tell Deku about it later.
I don’t really prefer one over the other, but seeing the first prediction come true will be reminiscent of AFO telling AM that Shigaraki is the grandson of Nana Shimura. The second one seems very likely too, but would definitely decrease the emotion of the moment. Plus, if Deku watched this happen the fight will become a heck of a lot more interesting emotionally. But it would also be interesting to see Deku break down after the fight, if Class A told him then. Like, imagine if they held back from telling him until they thought his emotional state was stable enough. The poor boy has experienced so much trauma since entering UA, and finally when the villain he set out to defeat is dead and he can finally take a breather and enjoy life for the first time, he is told that his mentor and father figure has been killed by said villain. That would be absolutely heartbreaking, and would shake Deku down to his core, no matter how or when he is told.
Back to Nezu and him isolating Deku, I’m very excited to see if and how that will play out. Like, Deku just disappears and Class A is frantically looking for him meanwhile Deku is facing multiple villains at once. Knowing AFO, his plan of action would likely be to isolate, weaken, shatter, steal, and kill. The first step would be isolating Deku, then weakening him and wearing him down by making him fight several villains, but not himself, shattering Deku’s spirit with the death of All Might, stealing OFA, and then killing Deku in likely the most torturous, painful, and gruesome way possible.
I’m honestly so excited for the final battle, and super sad too. I really don’t want this series to end. It’s just too good.
After all he said in 335 and the hope he has, it just makes things more devastating to AM now. Deku looks like he’s cracking somewhat in a few shots. How exactly did AFO knew that AM would be a teacher in UA of all places?
@@blubclub5422 The final act for me has been a mixed bag of good and bag and underwhelming, but the traitor story and what may happen next will probably lead to something from bad to worse, and it’s gonna be devastating. I hope it happens. As for Deku, anyone else seeing some cracks in the shell? He’s doing his best to help Aoyama, but this bombshell definitely made his mental state worse, now we can hopefully see more of that trauma
@@jeffreyali1456 Hey! Haven’t seen you in a while! Couldn’t agree more. Nezu isn’t just a mole. He’s a rat. Everything is building as I’ve wanted it to with a few extra caveats that both threw me through a loop and excited me greatly.
If there’s two things I’ve figured out, Horikoshi’s speedrun has taken new shape. 1st it was nonstop because Deku was nonstop. But now it’s shown that Deku is not nonstop. AFO is and he’s switching CONSTANTLY while everyone plays catch up. Deku is still shaken from his breakdown. And I hope him and Uraraka have a more personal moment.
Nezu just is the big gun now. He’s the one to watch out for as I think he’s helping AFO setup the global plot. I know it’s Nezu but I have NO IDEA how the trigger will be pulled. AFO has like 50 choices.
In a sense I agree with deku. The mha universe has a hard time distinguishing villains and criminals. Villains are people like muscular who bring harm to others for pleasure or satisfaction well criminals are people who break the law. Think the difference between joker and mr.freeze ones the embodiment of chaos well the other is a man who wants a better world. The problem most shonen protagonists have is realizing people can’t change unless they want to. Jeez that was a rant anyway thanks for coming to my tedtalk.
*claps enthusiastically* (I like how you put it)
Sometimes people don't believe that they can change, some people are too buried in their delusions, or have problems that stops them from even realizing that they need to change.
It's not as easy as just wanting or bot wanting to change.
Like, there are already characters who want to change but don't know how to (Killua) Or don't even want to in the first place but do so without realizing it (Vegeta)
Context is also important
@@motivated2473 I 100% agree and to add to that communication is important for people who don’t know how to change.
Killua talked to gon and that helped him change well vegeta was influenced by his surroundings.
Right now aoyama and a few others don’t think he can change but midoriya knows he can and that’s why he’s offering his hand.
I just disagreed with plot armours opinion about the shonen outlook and that offering help to those that need it is the right thing to do but can sometimes be misplaced based on the opportunity available to change.
i don't think it would've been hard if they just killed them off and that couldve just made it easier for them
Most shonen stories have trouble. But then again, most Superhero stories actually don't have this problem because the settings themselves have grown beyond just simple Good Guy/Bad Guy dynamics. Hell some famous supervillains practically embody the latter *cough*Magneto*cough* and some heros even managed to make the jump to being good and stay there *cough*Rogue*cough*.
Althought Plot Armor disagrees with Deku's sentiment about "one crime not making you a villain outright" I think its key to note as viewers the truth in this. Its kind of like the opposite of Stain's teachings in that one or two heroic deeds doesn't necessarily make you a hero. I see it as a good contrast and parallel despite it being typical Shonen writing. The hero world needs to take a deeper look at this issues through and through.
I remember something in the Provisional Licensing Exam arc when IIda was with Aoyama. In Aoyama's flashback, he asked his parents why he was different from everyone else. I was a bit confused when he said that but now but I understand. (A bit late yes I know but it was clever from Horikoshi that moment clearly went over all our heads.) The little reveal for Toru was unexpected; her statement to Yuga in the forest and the rest of class 1A finding out really got to me.
At the time you supposed to think quirk incompatible with it's user
When Deku sticks his hand out to help others it was never to say you're weak but to say you're not alone... I am here.
It isn't Aoyamas fault, the way he speaks like Aoyamas a real villain is lacking a sense of human emotion. The guys family was betrayed while he was barely 5 years old and would die if Aoyama didn't do what All for One says.
This might be a stretch, but stomach issues are a big physical symptom of anxiety. Maybe Aoyama's stomach pain isn't just related to his quirk, but the quirk's incompatibility with his morals too. Using the quirk reminds him of why he has it in the first place, spiking his anxiety. The quirk being incompatible with his body makes sense too, but that added layer would be interesting as it would also give Aoyama the ability to work through the stress now that he doesn't need to keep a dark secret any longer and allow him to use his quirk in a stronger capacity.
Could be some cool much needed development for him.
wow thats so smart!!
And your right because there are connections of nerves from the brain to stomach, quite a lot of them!!
In this chapter, I think we finally have a great understanding of how Deku thinks. How he views villains and how he views societies norms. He’s without a doubt been the symbol of peace since the very beginning. One of the best mc of all Shonen.
🤣
Deku comes no where near the best MCs of shounen
He might be your fave but that doesn't mean he's the best
I wouldn't say one of the best. If he tries to save Shiguraki and turn him into a good guy then he falls far behind from being a "decent: MC. A great MC would be able to kill if it is necessary, rather than try to save everyone they encounter, be it friends or villains. That is how life goes. One cannot save everyone no matter how hard they try. Sometimes a person needs to kill. Hero's especially. I am tired of all these hero stories talking about not killing the enemy when in reality it would be needed to prevent certain crimes and events from happening. If they had just done so from the start things would be a lot different in the story. And no -- the story does not have to end there. There's just no creativity at all for the writers to change their story halfway through if they go through a plot point like that.
@@gr8atness then were else would such a ridiculous statement come from?@

Wow I knew this Chapter was gonna hit hard in the feels but damn I was not ready to see invisible Girl and the rest of Class A’s Reaction to Aoyama being revealed as the traitor. Deku’s speech at the end was really hopeful at the end of the chapter.
you can clearly see how hard hagakures words hit aoyama. I feel like midoriyas words can shine some light into the self-hatred aoyama feels rn but his words can only go so far. I really hope nothing happens to him because he doesn't deserve it (even though he's the traitor). seeing everyone's reaction after they found out he's the traitor really hurt. imma be honest seeing hagakures reaction toward aoyama made me change my opinion on her because at first i didnt think much of her but know i feel different towards her.
Me too, idk how. But when I saw everyone’s reaction I felt like it was a personal hit (aoyama is a favourite for me). It was sad.
@@bookeater1599 when we are the most upset we tend to be more willing to lash out. The wound is fresh, but they should be able to forgive him. After all, even when he was working for the villan he still tried to help everyone. And like many said if deku was done like that who knows what might have happened. The situation is complicated, and there will be mistrust. But I dont doubt they can go beyond.
“He doesn’t deserve it” is indirectly responsible for the death of many people and the loss of quirks by innocent people. But no he doesn’t deserve it. Aoyama needs to be thrown into the darkest cell Tarturus has to offer and be left to rot.
@@Mizuna752 "he doesn't deserve it" was my personal take but now that i see your perspective it's true the blood of innocent people, friends, and heros are now on Aoyama's hands and i know he must feel really affected by that seeing how the situation in the manga is and I'm not saying he doesn't deserve a punishment cause he does but that doesn't mean he can't have a redemption arc too right? 🤷
@@loveobrosey6845 If he does it’s going to be horribly unbelievable and quite frankly nothing he can do should redeem him although it likely will as it’s a Shonen. He admitted himself that even when he saw the pain, stress and torment he was directly responsible for he felt no guilt and was only concerned with not getting caught and saving his own ass. He is a piece of shit by his own admission.
Aoyama was my favorite character and I didn't even know why lol. Didn't even have as much screentime as the others. This sad info doesn't change my opinion of him tho, tbh it makes me love him even more
Hahaha, same. Idk wh I love him so much. He was one of the first characters I liked in mha, even though he didn’t get much screen time (what’s funny is that I always thought the aoyama traitor theory was an interesting concept, and when I saw the chapter I kinda laughed and cried). I still love him, I just hope everything goes okay. Like, please horikoshi I’m praying.
the sentiment of not being labelled a villain over one crime depends entirely on the crime. a theft for example, is very different to something like premeditated murder
Stealing is a violation of a person's property and leads to long term problems. Thieves should be punished
@@savagetv6460 im not denying that. but sometimes desperate circumstances create desperate men and women and it becomes necessary to survive, and thats just one example. sometimes people do something wrong for reasons that might be considered good. thats why i agree with Dekus mentality of not calling someone a villain for one wrongdoing, although Aoyama is definitely guilty of something very serious

@@savagetv6460 Your way of thinking is more polarized than a blm protest
Yo, so I think that Hagakure is having a quirk power up/evolution here. The ability to manipulate/warp/refract light is her real quirk, not just being invisible.
And if she was able to power up her quirk to hide other people by bending the light around them, that might be the advantage they need in the final battle.
Think about the squad showing up to fight and the villains are seeing nothing. AFO can sense they are close, but they can't see them. When out of thin air a navel laser shoots right at him.
Wouldn't that be wild?
Hmm I like it honestly. Seems strong asf tho haha but cool idea
She has shown that she can refract light many arcs ago though, firstly introduced during the provisional license arc. She also has shown that she can refract the light around an object making that object invisible.
The hatred of being different is not applied into MHA only, people in Japan too hate someone being so different. They treat you like an outcast or worse, nothing like a speck of dust
It's really true. There's a saying in Japan that goes like this, "Deru kugi wa utareru" which means "The nail that sticks out gets hammered."
yeah, Japan… kinda sucks
Heavy 😔
Here's my theory, Hagakure out of sheer emotion opened up the ability to change invisible to visible. Just like Himiko I think that Hagakure can fully unlock the ability later on.
Edit: Now that I think about it, Hagakure could have been someone Yuga was trying to place the blame on for the title traitor. What if Hagakure was brainwashed as a kid to thinking she can't turn visible under any condition. I think a fun concept would be that Hagakure learned that if she could capture light from Yuga she would be overjoyed to show people what she looks like.
I just think because Yuga's Quirk Navel Laser is light when he shot she probably did asorb some of the energy for a partial time while trying to redirect it
Thats the mowt boring shit ive ever heard but plausible
nahh theres not much too it, she refracted the light that he shot and all the steam/smoke that came off of that just wrapped around her body and made it a bit visible
Speaking of himiko, if she turned into Tooru, would she be visible? Or not since she gets the quirks nowñ
If you think about it, Aoyama involuntaryly helped his classmates get real life "experience". If they were left alone with their class schedules, they will not know the weight of danger which is coming whilst the doctor and AFO plans to power up Shigaraki was still ongoing
Even so, while I still feel bad for Aoyama, that still doesn’t change the fact that Class 1A could’ve been DEAD due to him leaking information to AFO about the USJ & training camp. I’m look at the episode where Deku fought Muscular, he barely made it out of that alive. And Bakuguo and Ragdoll got abducted as an end result; which lead ro RD’s Search being stolen, the Kamino incident & eventually the War arc. So again, while I still feel bad for Aoyama, Toru’s rage towards him is justified baffled how he had the audacity to be in the same class and dorms with everyone in Class A KNOWING he was putting them all at risk the entire time
Agreed, as messed up as it is. Pushing the class into difficult positions allowed them to adjust faster and get into more situations where they could expect in the future.
That doesn’t justify what happened
In the end Aoyama never deserved any of this. Yah Toru is justified to be angry however Aoyama is human and most of us are afraid of death. They can be mad at him for having the audacity to stay with them but if he dismayed A.F.O and told the police the conciquence would be death. Its the realist thing to be afraid of death. Aoyama may have done something wrong but this whole thing had nothing to do with him. He sacrificed alot to betray them and its killing him. Toru's words probably hurt the worst because she has every right to be pissed but at the same time what choice did he honestly have. This is one of those situations where u have to literally think would I have done the same? What is justification at this point?
I agree that what Aoyama did wasn't justified. However with correct and legal punishment is enough for what he deserves. But a hateful resentment or banishment forever like cancel culture is not deserved if he changed and redeemed himself.
I think Deku’s claim is pretty justified in this particular situation. Plus, the main villains have committed many many large scale crimes, and Aoyama wasn’t doing any of his wrongs for evil purposes.
out of anything, the most surprising thing they brought back was one character reaching their hand out to someone who physically can't move their hands a moment from the saving bakugo arc
Man this so incredibly sad like I honestly wouldn't know how to feel about Aoyama or if I could forgive him if I was Class A I really believe that I would bur damn thinking about how everything has occurred due to him is very disturbing.
Didn't his parents want what was best for him
True, for me it’s easy, but that’s because aoyama for me is my favourite character, but if he did it to me, all those dangerous situations, all of that and my classmates getting hurt (also, make note that they don’t have the context, they just know afo gave him a quirk in order to spy, they don’t _know_ anything about the whole story) I would find it hard.
If she wanted, couldn't Invisible Girl have had a mold of her face created, then had that mold filled, essentially showed everyone what she looks like?
I mean sort of, the main issue is that the eye color, skin tone and hair will be an issue to replicate. Cause the face is easier to mold around it will be able to hold a general shape. On the other hand the other parts of her require some level of visibility to even make. For the eyes the color and the design of the eye are both important parts that would need actual looking into as well as the color of hair and the shape the hair naturally is in.
Think of this idea then think of a skin suit or wearing a persons face.
I think the other girls tried to do that before in the manga somewhere
I vaguely remember them doing that in a bonus section and it turned out horribly wrong lol
(Joke) endeavor: you ruined your family just for a quirk how dare you
Aoyamas: look who is talking
Endeavor: I mean it could happen to anyone.
@P Pierre You realize Aoyama was forced to be the traitor right? He wasn't selfishly pretending to be anything, he didn't have a choice. Since he was a kid, he was burdened with the knowledge that his parents would be killed by a power-hungry monster if he didn't do as he was told. The real person to blame is AFO. AFO used Aoyama just like he uses everyone around him. He sees people as puppets, toys for him to play with and throw away when he's done with them.
@P Pierre While your statement is true, it's not all that logical. Just b/c there was a person who could give Quirks didn't guarantee they would be a criminal. For all the parents knew, it could have been a kind person who just wanted to help those who were seen as different. I will agree that they should have thought it over more, or maybe tried looking elsewhere, but it was honestly just simple bad luck that the only person with that kind of power was AFO.
Also, how could Aoyama or his parents have hoped for it to work out if they just told everything on day 1? AFO has spent years stealing powerful Quirks from people, and he is aware of what goes on with those he gives Quirks. If Aoyama had gone and confessed, even if they were put into a witness protection program or whatever their version of it is, it wouldn't be enough since AFO either could appear himself and massacre everyone there or have one of his many henchmen sneak their way inside and murder Aoyama's family.
Regardless of how you try to put it, Aoyama really had no choice.
Oh god! I already saw this and every time it breaks me! I really hope they give Aoyama a second chance, a chance to break the chains that held him for I can imagine ten long and painful years.
It hurts me too😭
I’m sorry but Yuga still have to take responsibility for his actions…I know he was super scared but telling his friends they would’ve had his back NO MATTER what…honestly seeing invisible girl so heart broken was the icing on the cake:(
No leave him alone
My two favorite panel is when Hagakure reflects Aoyoma's navel laser and when Deku restrain them all.
There was so much emotions the traitor, the feelings of everyone evolved and also invisible girl real face it definitely wasn't boring from beginning to end and leaves you at the edge of your seat.
Sparkle-Boy's tears are genuine. I NEED him to be redeemed! Let him drive off the dark clouds of despair with a beautiful sparkly laser beam!
I think because Aoyama was essentially being blackmailed, I agree. Had Aoyama chosen this path, however, I would completely disagree. Even Aoyama's parents were being controlled, and weren't aware of all the catches. So I think in real world application, they'd be considered accessories to the crime, not the criminal. We can therefore differentiate crimes & criminals, and criminals and villans. Someone who is forced like Aoyama, has still committed a crime, and would likely need therapy and for lack of a better term, a leash until trust had been established again. But, what about someone like Shigaraki? He got an unfortunate quirk, developed trauma because of it, and was easily manipulated by AFO. I would argue Shigaraki is a criminal, but not a villain. There is no safe way to use his quirk, and he struggles to control it. Due to it's very nature, he'd always be criminal when using it-Again, making it easier to give into the villain mentality and to manipulate him. AFO is a master of mind games, he's had many life times to perfect his approaches. He is a villain. No one manipulated AFO, he has always been this way as far as we are aware from OFA's holders. AFO is perfectly aware of the atrocities he's committed and is committing, he's well aware what he's doing to others is wrong, and he either doesn't care or enjoys that. Using this pattern, one can deduce that Gentle criminal was just that-A criminal, but not a villain. Stain, was a Villain. He had a twisted worldview, sure, but he was well aware he was killing people and viewed it as for the greater good. He gets a bit of a redemption, through his giving All might the info, but he otherwise fits the bill for Villainy here.
Thinking on others, Here's how I'd break it down: Hawks is a criminal, but he's also a hero. Endeavor is a hero in name only, As he knew what he was doing and did so purposefully. Until he was forced to confront the loss of his family, and that disconnect, he took pride in his actions. Villian. Twice is a criminal, but not a villain. He just had a lot of trauma, and would've benefited from therapy. Toga has similar circumstances to Shigaraki, as her quirk is unfortunately geared towards villainy, but she doesn't seem to be manipulated or blackmailed, and she definitely enjoys hurting folks (and taking their blood non-consenually) so she's still a villain. Dabi is a tricky one, as he has that traumatic backstory, but he's clearly out for revenge on Endeavour AND the society that allowed him to be a hero on the streets, an abuser behind closed doors. Villain.
Taking all of this into account, and what Izuku said as well, Technically Bakugou, Iida and Izuku have all committed crimes. But we don't view these three as Villains, or immoral. I think Deku is calling on his own experiences when he says that. If his crimes had labelled him a villain, he never would've been able to continue his schooling. None of them would. Does that mean aoyama shouldn't face the consequences of his actions? Of course not. But I don't think Aoyama participated willingly, so I think he'd be on a similar path as The previous three, rather than Twice.
I completely agree with everything you said.
It's essentially the same as "borrowing" from a mafia and being used for that "debt". A mistake many families and people fall victim to. Those people aren't villians for making a dumb choice and being blackmailed further into it. They deserve to be held accountable but not punished, they are victims to a larger villian.
That's how I see it.
Duuuuuuuuuuude.
I've been watching your channel as far as I can remember and can I just say that I really appreciate what you do!

I always knew that she’d have the ability to redirect light. Cause I initially read it as he was upset that Deku was being so forgiving in that situation. lol i think it just might have been really interesting to have a scene of bakugo going off at the traitor since he was the one who got kidnapped
Bakugou figured that Deku has a plan that allows Aoyama to use his connection with AFO to their advantage. I dont kniw how they'll pull it off, but that's what we know for now.
And I think it nakes sense that Bakugou is sombre in this moment. Of course he is struck by the fact that Aoyama was quirkless too because he used to bully a quirkless child himself. I think he understands his helplessness to some degree.
The thing I love about Deku is even when someone stabs him in the back he still try's to be kind to them that's just who he is the guy has a really strong heart.
Chapter 368 has finally shown us her full look (she looks cute) on the cover page. But it also revealed that she doesn't have a suit made of her hair like Mirio, she just fights naked

@@kurapikaflavoredchocolate-6344 it's possible to make a suit made from her hair similar to Mirio's. Fighting but naked just doesn't sit right
I think Deku is just saying *criminal =/= villain* (for the rest of life), obviously there is overlap, but it's not a hard set equivalent.
