Just made my first pair and I LOVE them! I am a new beginner and this was my first time following a pattern. It was super helpful to follow since you have this video! Thank you so much!
Thank you for an excellent lesson in how to make socks. I have been wanting to make socks for some time and this is definitely something I will try now I understand the process.
Telling what part we are learning to make in a project gives the idea of how to proceed. Your "splendid diagram" was really thoughtful and telling at each section like this is the heel and so on was really helpful. I am a beginner. Thank you for the detailed instructions 👍 .
Thank you so much for this awesome tutorial! I am not very good at crocheting yet but your instructions were very clear and easy to follow. Now I can snuggle up on the couch with my cozy socks and watch some christmas movies. :)
There are tons of videos for maikng socks but this is the only one that made me feel confident enough and was easy enough for me to follow along as a beginner. Really love how they turned out. Thank you!
I recently stumbled across this pattern and love it! I’ve already made two pair and plan to make more for Christmas gifts. The pattern is so easy follow... thank you for sharing with us!
Wow! Best sock video EVER! Totally confident that I can make my own socks to fit now. Thank you so much for offering this. I will definitely be shopping your ravelry patterns! 😃
As a relatively new beginner to crochet I found this tutorial a bit fast at times and struggled with the skipped bits in the video. However, following the pattern was good experience and I learned new stitches (Fptr, Bptr). I've almost got 1 very pretty sock but it's taken me aaallll day. I'm sure the second sock will be easier 😊
Rosina, thank you so much for this treat of the sock pattern and this sock tutorial! I finally can say I am confident of making my crochet socks (I already start it) no longer afraid of it, you made it possible!!
Thank you for this tutorial, I am fairly new to the crocheting world, yet your instructions were very clear. I am crocheting these socks now and am looking forward to wearing them :). Love from Slovakia ♥.
I love this, its one of the easierst i have made so far!thanxxx 🥰 Am on a 2nd pair, i made knit socks but now i l💜 this particular ones cause i get a light Massage from the HDC stitch 🤪🤪🤪🤪😘
Cheers, Tamara!! That's a fab idea. I've been thinking about making a stocking with super chunky yarn using this pattern. Maybe I'll do it nearer Christmas. xx
I'm sorry, I don't know. You will need to work out your tension (calculate how many rows you do per cm for example) and compare it to the standard measurement of the size you need. :)
I can't find the pattern. There isn't a description box below and doesn't scroll down to find it. Could you possibly show the pattern on screen please?
The description box appears when you hit the down arrow on the right (under the video). Alternatively, you'll find it by heading to the free patterns page on my blog, which you can Google. ☺️
Sizing info is given in the accompanying download. The pattern (and stitch counts) have been worked out for Aran weight yarn. If using a lighter weight yarn you would need to make more increases at the toe to make them big enough.
Hi dear Rosina I make a sock with this pattern but when I wear it the part of the heel is not comfortable is too tight and I don't know why so if you have any ideas please answer me
I'm new to crocheting so it's sometimes a bit difficult to follow when I don't know the terms, and your crocheting is outside the view of the camera :( (like 12:55, i don't know what that stitch is and unfortunately i can't see from the video either) But thank you so much for making the video, I'll try to finish :)
For all beginners I would recommend that they learn the basics before embarking on projects. Although these are easy socks, they're still socks, which are ambitious for a newbie😊 Thanks for appreciating that recording and making at the same time is tricky. This video has a written pattern to go with it. If a bit goes off camera for a second or two following the pattern will help.
On the page you go to it says (in big letters) "click here to download the PDF: Easy Slipper socks". I spent the time putting the document together so that people would have something user friendly and printable. It doesn't take much longer to give one extra click. Have a merry Christmas.
I think it would be a lot easier to say the increases, like 4 sc, then 2sc in next etc. it’s too confusing when something simpler could be said without all the extra talk.
Zeens And Roger I just think you need to be a bit clearer with what you say and if your going to abbreviate words do it consistently. Don’t flip between the two because it gets confusing. I’d also mention at the beginning the difference between dc and sc and then pick one term. Just a bit of constructive criticism
Darling. Never saw a crocheted sock. Learn something new every day!

Ah yay! Thank you. I'm so pleased to hear that! xxx
a tip : you can watch series on KaldroStream. Been using it for watching a lot of movies these days.
@Harlem Brian Yup, been using kaldroStream for since december myself :)
@@harlembrian3735 wow it's so cheap compared to netflix! Is it worth switching do you think? Is the quality good?

I followed your pattern and made the most beautiful pair of socks for my friend. This was my first crochet item and I am so thrilled! Thank you!

You’re the best. Thx again for sharing your talents. Wish you were my sister. Even tho I have two wonderful sisters. But they’re not crafty.
Ah, thanks!! I'm lucky that my sisters are crafty but probably not as obsessive as me! Haha!
I just made one, it was really easy pattern to follow and so comfortable, thank you so much!

Love this easy sock pattern. Can it be converted to light 4ply yarn do you have a recipe for that. :-)
Love it Rosina! Thinking the Aran weight would make this a lovely quick Christmas present to hook up!

Brilliant, thank you, off to find my aran and 4.5mm hook.
:D :D Hurray!!
How would I adjust these for a Uk men’s 12?
Lovely socks - round 1 - well, I thought I'd followed it, but I have 18 stitches, not 16 ... story of my crotcheting life 😶
What do you mean an increase?
You’ve certainly made me think I can make a sock. Thank you for the great tutorial.
Yes, you totally can!! :D
Cheers. x

hi there can I use a very thin yarn for this? And also what is the size of the socks?
Sizing info is given in the accompanying download. The pattern (and stitch counts) have been worked out for Aran weight yarn. If using a lighter weight yarn you would need to make more increases at the toe to make them big enough.
I am keen to make these socks as my next project, I am just wondering what yarn everyone would recommend?
Hi, the pattern uses aran weight yarn. I've seen people make some great choices on fibre and colour 😁
@@zeensandroger3015 that is great thanks, is there are a particular fibre that has been best to use?
@@bryonybehan6899 probably a wool blended with nylon, polymide or similar. Something to strengthen the yarn.
is it one size socks
Hopefully you've found the link to the written pattern which shows three size options.
@@zeensandroger3015 oh thank you 😍haven't seet it🤗
@@tinakrause1635 it's in the description box. Hit the down arrow ☺️
Wait how do you fasten off?
Cut yarn (leave a 10cm tail of yarn) and pull through the working loop to knot
New sub today, thank you for the pattern...Kim☺
Yay! Thanks! x

Hi dear Rosina I make a sock with this pattern but when I wear it the part of the heel is not comfortable is too tight and I don't know why so if you have any ideas please answer me
You can try increasing once or twice when you're crocheting the heels to keep them from being too tight
You may need to add another row or two to the foot length. Or try going up a hook size on the heel. There are lots of variables.
