Hello. Sorry if I am asking but when you change the colour for the heel, on your sock you have 36 stitches or more? Because after you make 30 stitches with purple doesn’t look like you have left 6 stitches left but more , right?
Best pattern ever! But, Can someone tell me why my socks turn out too wide & big? I’ve gone down crochet hooks and still too wide. Help!

Amazing pattern! If we do next size up with 60 stitches, how many eould you assign to the heel? I was thinking 40?
Thank you! Yes, about 2/3 of the stitches, so 40 is perfect!
I didn't hear you say what size yarn and size hook?? Or how many yards yarn?

Are you working regular sc or split sc
To me from the video, it looks like it's regular single crochet.

would this work well with thicker yarn ?
Yes, but you'll have a small amount of total stitches. Start the same, but once you've reached the needed width, don't make any more stitch increases. Then for the heel, take about 2/3 of all the stitches. Hope this helps! Happy crocheting!
