There are many blind crests where the road goes right, on the north shore road, however there is one where it goes left. This was the main route before the bridge for anything that could not use the ferry and the preferred route for anyone coming or going to Glen Coe and south over Rannoch. It is noticeable where there have been updates to the road, like the one you go off road where a blind bend had been opened out.
