Excellent video. I'm glad you zoomed in. This allowed me to really see what you were doing.
Thanks for watching
Excellent tutorial cap. Thx
You're welcome Capt. Rick
I am a big fan of epoxy ramps especially when covering up winding checks(plastic/rubber). The rods I have done without the epoxy ramps over them the winding checks tend to look pretty rough after a few years. Since doing the epoxy ramps the transitions just have a much better flow to them.
I agree completely. Thanks for watching
I've been spending the last 12 months building my rod in my mind, buying the parts, figuring out what sort of wraps to put and where.
Do you know if Having a tiger wrap in the split would clash with a marbling underwrap for guides? I would be using the same colours for the most part.
A tiger wrap and marbling are fairly similar. If you don't like it, you can always marble over the tiger wrap to match your guides.
terry cook.what is the correct way to put a spinning reel seat tighting nut toward the tip or the butt.
There is not a "correct way." Some seats are designed to be down locking, some to be up locking, and some can go either way.
