Thank you! I found instructions written online but they were not exactly clear. Seeing you do it and mimicking your movements I got it on the first try! Saved me so much money!
Thanks!! The steps worked! The only thing is that on the step when you have to press both lock/unlock you didn’t specify that you have to press those buttons on the NEW remote for at least 3-5 seconds but it works. Thanks!!
After the last step when you turn the ignition on/off you have to press the lock and unlock buttons on the new key fob (the one you want to program) for 3-5 seconds. And it should work!! I just programmed a key fob for a 2012 Scion XB.
This totally works! My son and I were laughing hysterically while trying to perform the steps correctly and in order. We finally got it right on the 7th try. THANK YOU!!! 😄
I just ordered my key! I can't wait! I only have a key without the lock and unlock feature on it. So i been having to manually lock and unlock my car. I checked to see if i can get into programming mode with this key first and i was able to do it! Can't wait to have keyless entry again! And for only 14 dollars! The dealership wanted to charge me 400 dollars for the same key fob! And i almost paid a private guy 175 dollars to put in a whole new remote keyless entry system into my car until i realized after reading online i could just buy one on ebay for cheap and program it myself! Sweet.
hello. were you able to get into programming mode with these steps? i too only have an old style key with no controls on it and it doesn’t seem to work i’ve done everything in the video and nothing
Awesome. I can confirm these steps worked on my 2009 Scion xD. It took me a few times to get all the steps right, but it worked great with the aftermarket fob. At fist I thought it didn't work when I tested inside my car, but when I stepped out and tried from outside it worked! Now to find a locksmith willing to cut my new key...
Hi, we're you able to do this without cutting the key? How where you able to turn on and off the ignition?? I tried this without cutting the key but I couldn't turn the ignition on and off.
@@Beto_toro i’m on the same boat. the old key i had doesn’t have the controls on it im not sure if that affects if doing these steps works or not cause of that. i was able to program the immobilizer but not the lock controls
Hi just wanted to thank you for your help with providing the information to program the key fob. It work it gave me a hard time at first but then I realized that you need to do it quickly in a timely manner for it to work. Thank you for your video it's very informative.
This worked to program two MOZB41TG keyless entry keys for my 2008 scion xD. Tried like 20 times and like other comments mentioned, the lock and unlock buttons need to be held for 3-4 seconds and it works. I had the keys cut at Home Depot while getting copies for house keys. They don't usually do it when you bring your own blank but just ask kindly. Thank you very much!
Perfect Works great for my Toyota Scion 2010 You need to be patient, it’s necessary hold lock and unlock at the same time That’s part was difficult for me
En mi Scion tC el último paso funcionó presionando el botón “unlock” lo estaba tratando de hacer con el botón “lock” y no funcionaba. Thanks for the tutorial master!
Thank you very much because I had the same procedure issue by waiting too long and I had to do it three or four times myself....😮. Ended up working out just fine... Thanks again...
Greats videos. Thank you for your hard work. Cheers. I am always wondering when I am watching your videos about your accent. It reminds me the Czech Republic.
THANK YOU very much. You save me 90 dollars. Faster is better. When you pull the key out and press the open and lock you have to do it quickly, then press the open or close button. Very awesome thanks again.
And the dealer said i couldn't do it that they had to program it. Thanks will give this a try on my 08. Xb. Also getting ready to buy tech stream so ill be able to do it either way.
Good afternoon friend, I am a follower of your videos that are very interesting and informative and learning at the same time .... I greet you and in turn I ask you for information on how to program a key for a TOYOTA COROLLA 2015 .... I thank you anticipated.
Hi my friend, this does work but you should consider editing your video so that we can get all the steps closer together... otherwise we have to write the steps down or go by memory😳 just saying, take care😊

Step 1: insert and remove key twice without turning Step 2: close and open door twice Step 3: insert key & pull it out Step 4: close and open door twice Step 5: insert key and close door Step 6: turn key to ON position then back to lock Step 7: remove key and you should see/hear the locks Step 8: press and hold lock and unlock on the key FOB simultaneously for one second... Step 9: and then immediately press only the lock button for 2 seconds Step 10: DONE🤓
Door open Insert key and pull out 2 times Close and open door twice leave it open Put key in and take it out Open door twice then put key in then close the door

@@vermouth07 Thanks for the response. I just got a 2005 Scion tc that needs work. Both of the key fobs are trashed. I was thinking of selling the car once I found out it was going to cost about $600 for keys.
Thanks for that, going to try and add a new key to my truck as I only have the one master key - no spares. Here is a question for you (or anyone else that can pitch in) My truck uses the same key that is used on this video - the electronic buttons all work correctly, however... If I use the cut section of the key (manually in the door lock) I can lock and unlock the cab, but, When I open the door after unlocking manually, the vehicle alarm goes off and I have to use the electronic button to switch it off. As I say, lock unlock alarm all function correctly using the electronic buttons, it is only when I use the "CUT" key in the drivers lock that the alarm goes off. any ideas? Thanks.

I guess they need to make it esoteric enough that you'd never manage to accidentally put it in programming mode. Makes sense to me.

Would this work on 2006 Scion TC?
I would go nuts smash the key then have a shot of jack Daniel's whiskey

Insert key and pull out 2 times
Close and open door twice leave it open
Put key in and take it out

How did you program the alarm and how do you reprogram it if it needs 3 or 4 button presses to fully unlock all doors, but lock works fine?
Any idea where the alarm chirp buzzer is or how to disable? My 08 xb chirps every time i hit the unlock/lock on keyfob
