This is a huge help in writing my novel. It has really inspired my imagination. The subtle music in the background along with it instead of just pure ambience is great.
I am highly selective....and particular when it comes to music. Most 'relaxing' music irritates me with high pitched pan flutes, depressing piano, or bells and whistles. This however, is .....perfect. Calming, seductive, dark, comforting, inspiring. Just my style.

If you’ve never read a horror/thriller novel to spooky ambient music then you have to try. Especially at night, maybe with a candle going in your peripheral for atmosphere… Nothing beats that type of mental zone.💀🖤

I too have had depression since I was seventeen, I am now fifty six. Smoking pot relaxes me, and it helps me sleep. I had twenty five years of insomnia, and after giving up on regular medications (too many side effects), I now have it most nights. I live in Victoria Australia, where to grow, sell or possess marijuana is still illegal. Eventually our government will see the light on the many benefits of cannabis, and will most likely tax it. But at least people will have the freedom to use it for medicinal purposes, or just to relax. As for this beautiful music, I am a writer of science fiction /fantasy books, and I can see all my wonderful worlds etc… peace be to you, Blessings. :)

I think maybe this is just another type of dark music. Dark as in finding comfort in darkness when you are feeling low or overwhelmed. At least, that's how I feel.

I just want to let you know that I need some kind of repetitive white-noise machine, preferably something like this. Which I adore. But the fun part is that, I search for thematic videos to whatever I'm doing. And this, I've listened to non-stop in a loop while reading Tolkien. And now whenever I listen to this, I am able to concentrate, but from time to time I imagine elves and orcs and trees, through no fault of my own. This has helped me a lot with my concentration. I simply love this.
This video helped me write my novel. I spent so long trying to find something to listen to while working and UA-cam was not being helpful. 😂 But I love this, the ambience isn't too loud and the music isn't too invasive. And since my character spends the entire book kicking around in a dark forest, I figure it's especially appropriate.
