Yeah the portions don't look so great.
I tried Good Chop, some the packages were compromised and they replaced part of my order with 3 packs of chicken wings and a chicken thigh without consulting me. They gave me a 25.00 refund but I didn't want theses cuts of chicken and are still in the freezer. I canceled.

I ordered from them for the first time. They gave me whatever they wanted to, almost nothing was what I ordered. They offered no credit, no refund. This is a scam and I wonder what they gave the reviewers.

When I released this video it was free shipping and that was one of their selling points. Unfortunately, it appears that they had to change that recently - probably due to rising costs everywhere. Sorry…

@@JaredDesrosiers sent the order and invoice numbers. :-)n the website for Good Chop is a bit of a challenge to navigate. Can't seem to see where to check the menu unless I log out and look at it anonymously. When I am logged in, and click the menu link- it flashes up and then redirects to my order page. I want my next box to be the smaller one and after my initial order was placed and paid for, I changed my plan - but then when I checked my invoice, it was changed to the small box price but still showed 12 cuts in my cart. I changed it back to the large box and waited til yesterday ( Sunday ) after the EST cutoff for changes and then changed it to the smaller box. I am trying to select my 6 cuts for the next shipment today and so far, can't access the menu when I am logged in... so the website is not awesome in my opinion but hopefully my meat will be :-)
so I just went to check to see if there were any new selections in case I wanted to switch my second order that I had already locked in and discovered that they added a 3.99 per item surcharge to my Grass fed selections. It was not there when I set up the order and selected my cuts. I looked at a couple you tube unboxing videos that had screen shots of the menu because I thought I may have missed it... and it is definitely not there- tiny writing in the lower corner on all the grass fed selections +2.99 and +3.99. - :-( I checked the invoice after making my initial selections and it was 149 with the 30 dollar coupon - for the 2nd order for a total of 119.00. But just now when I checked- it was 122.98. I feel a little bait and switched and am wondering if you see that on your orders. Not super happy with the unannounced changes. Not very professional.
I wasn't aware of this change either, and I agree with you that it's misleading. I personally probably just choose more non grass fed in the future. We are also messaging them to ask for an explanation.

Are you insane? Thats about $130 at costco that means the company profiting 170 per monthly box off you.
I ordered the big box with 12 in it and ended up with medium box with 6 and nothing I ordered I wanted salmon and shrimp, and chicken breast and thighs end up with hamburger and bacon and steaks and breast I hope this isn't how this going to go because I am not impressed, Just going to cancel

Both are good services and I recommend both. However, I prefer grass-fed beef over grain finished. ButcherBox has more grass-fed than Good Chop, which is why they inch out on top for me. Good Chop is a bit cheaper though.

It is really horrible. Cuts are not what they say it is at all. Meat at Aldi's is better than Good Shop, and I wouldn't feed either to a human. We took one bite of the "Ribeye" and threw all of it out.

Actually, I just looked at the Costco web site and their ribeyes are way more expensive and it doesn't matter since the closest Costco to me is a 2 hour drive. I do agree that this meat will be too expensive once my $150.00 signup discount is spent.@@Mysteryboy0007
