The Roaches are near a farm called Blaze Farm. It's got really good ice cream. The general area is beautiful.

I actually went to Flash when I was younger, my Mom took us to see the highest village in Britain.
I walked the 12km roaches/luds church figure 8 route last weekend. It never gets boring! ♥️ So lucky having the Peaks on our doorstep!

Hi Shawn 👋 good feature!! I live here in FLASH so if you'd like to revisit us I would be more than happy to tell and show you more of the history of our unique village 😊 my own property ( farm ) was built in 1686
And within my field's I have a cockfighting pit which is a similar age ( maybe older) ,FLASH is famous for being called the lawless village back in the day!! With outlaws participating in cockfighting, prizefighting and counter fit money 💰 ( FLASH MONEY)

Did a Topo survey at the "highest primary school in Britain" about 25 years ago and always remember it as its such an awesome location. The weather was awful on that day but didn't take anything away from the location. Sadly due to lack of numbers the school did close and nearly became an outdoor education centre linked with Flash Ley Primary School but sadly this deal fell through. I didn't realise it was now a private dwelling but nice to see it wasn't just left to become derelict. Brilliant vlog as always and great to see the Village again. :))))

Hi Shawn not sure if you're aware of Stanage edge great for rock climbing and Bamford Edge, east side of peak district stunning views out over hope valley and ladybower reservoir one of my favourite places in the Peak District

I have been at college
Just thought I'd make it 120th comment for Flash. I have a Staffordshire Wallchart in Kitchen and see Flash is Highest Village in UK. Good to see Good vlog about it. I've Always wanted to go to Bakewell as Love the Tarts. Aged 61 I don't Travel or walk as much thesedays but like to imagine my equivalent milage ie 1 - 5 miles a day ie walking the boarder of Staffordshire about 320 miles in about 5 - 6 mths? And Other Stuff.
Guess for the abroad trip = Dublin or Belfast???

Hi shawn lovely to see this the name made me chuckle. Great scenery love to see different places. I have just booked my dream holiday to florida to visit Disney world and universal studio's. I had to cancel my holiday there because covid hit so I was unable to go in 2020. But I'm booked to go early May next year 2023 for 2 weeks. I'm so excited I'll be watching you as always in florida. I deliver parcels around flash/quarnford and the buxton area every day of the week so for me I hate the place 🤣. Love your channel and theme park world wide though, keep up the good work.
There's a cool place to go walking called Lud's church which is like a cut out channel through stone really deep down, could be worth checking out

Great Vlog Shawn. Flash has it's darker side though. . They housed Jamie Bulger 's killers there at one point. And Ian Huntley's Girlfriend. Obviously after release .Under new names. Don't ask me why. But they did.
