I've been frustrated as to why I could never get good tracks recently. I used to do a lot of Camera tracking a couple decades ago, but couldn't understand what the problem was now. May thanks for this!
@stronga1733 You can explore PFTrack for free in discovery mode! When you're ready to export, you can subscribe and cancel anytime. Plus, if you're a student at a qualifying university, we offer a discounted subscription. :)
Who shoots horizontal videos on their phone? Why do all the big tracking companies ignore vertical videos? It would be cool to talk about tracking vertical videos
Hey @DobrotavsZlo, the professional apps from Blackmagic and Apple shoot horizontally by default as do many of our users; you have to enable vertical video shooting within the settings. The same tracking principles apply in PFTrack regardless of whether you shoot horizontally or vertically; it makes no difference. If you want to manually input the sensor size, simply swap the sizes on the axes; for example, a 36x24mm sensor will become 24x36mm. Calculating an accurate FOV is the most important component.
would mean the world if you could make a tutorial on tracking with rigged geometry like mocap solver and even geo tracker in detail..... if possible hope am not asking too much thanks in advance
