Not sure if just me but I'm finding the O/S feature keeps crashing whenever I try to use it. My iphone 15 pro itself doesn't seem fast enough to record (internally) O/S 60fps for more than ~5s on Apple log 4k. Wondering if it's happening on anyone else's device or just mine 🤔
Have not tried doing it yet using Apple log. Are you exporting straight to and SSD? Could be something to do with read/write speed. Also make sure your phone memory isn't too full Also mmight be worth going into settings in the BM APP and resetting the camera app ( at the very bottom of settings )
@@billbuckleytutorials I'm recording internal. I've reinstalled the app again but issue stil persist after creating a preset. Maybe a bug, hope they have an update soon.
@@waikitkan OK I think I found the issue . Mine also crashes instantly iPhone 15 Pro Max and it doesn't matter what codec ( i.e ProRes) or color space i.e Apple Log I'm in . The issue seems to be if you dont choose whole numbers for your base timeline Results 60/29.97 = crash 60/30 = No crash 60/23.98 = crash 60 /24 = No crash So try making sure your base frames rate is a whole number
Hello, Thanks for the video. Is this working in the iphone 14 pro max? I´m using the 1.5 version of the Blackmagic Camera but it doesn´t look is working in a 14 pro max. Thanks
As far as I am aware it should be working on your iPhone 14 pro max. See 1:28 in video. If you click on your framerate a FPS slider should slide out on the right side. At the top it should say o/s. seee video from here . Also check your iphone software is up to date.

With the iphone 13 pro you can record 120/240 … without the app…. lower quality.. yes… but with Topaz video ai you can go crazy with the framerate afterwards

@@billbuckleytutorials interesting! btw an update has been released, will see if that fixes the issues I’ve been experiencing!

Thanks for sharing. I personally prefer slowing down a fhd 60 fps clip to a 30 fps for an even smoother slow motion. Great feature by Blackmagic
I do the same
Thanks! Useful videos!! Go on!
Thanks !
very useful, thanks :))

Black magic Apps new update allows slow motion recording in Camera . Check it out!
Why is shutter angle wrongly set to 360 here? if ut was 180, slow mo would look far beter and more realistic motion blur
LOL I didn't notice it had changed . Strange as as you see it was locked at 180° ( as in the 60 fps )

Yes Topaz is amazing
Send my a link for topaz pls
@@digitaljedi7137 simply google topaz video ai by topazlabs. But it is expensive 😇 299$
@@digitaljedi7137 This is used in post production & not on the phone directly
Just google topaz labs . The software is great but quite $$
It looks choppy. Natively 60 or 120 seems much better than this new option.
