it seems to be relatively cheap, people are dropping the pieces to make it on the floor/overflowing inventory. Once people establish better methods of banking I’d imagine it stays cheap as like rune cross but bolts @ like d bolt price

Not really. Blowpipe did WAY more damage. Pures would struggle eating against it even with overhead on
There's exactly one reason to use this weapon, and that is same as with regular hunter crossbow. To cheese with movement delay
