With the Wind knot situation, try a braided leader or a shorter mono leader as braid travels faster than mono through the guides of the rod. So what happens is when the mono hits your guide and slows down, your braid catches up and creates a bunch which could lead to you parting the line off or even worse breaking your guide. You wil get windknots with every cast. Not the braids fault. You have to much braid on thet reel. Pull of 30m and try a 65-80lb braided leader. Then it wil loop soos n haai op n houtkatrol
