All depends on drift speed, current, wind and depth. For grunter I use 7g, 10g and 15g jigs. You want to use the lightest jig possible for grunts, but still be able to keep contact with the jig and the bottom. This was on a 7gram maasbanker colour Fishman Sting jig.
