thanks for sharing you recap!! my sept. was low too, it would have been over $500 if i cut my losses bertter, but i ended the month up $40 lol bc i had a $754 loss, which was just terrible, but i am learning alot, almost thru my learning curve, only rtook a total of 12 trades this month, where as august of $1500 in profits, i made 32 trades, so happy to have decreased my trades to focus on the best plays, but i really have to get better at cutting my losses and not caring about using a day trade, the pdt has been messing with me mentally, and i am working on overcoming that!!
- kyle: usually want breakout level to hold 2-3hours and then buy. For the b/o to prove itself. If it started running immediately without him, he is fine with that. - good b/o: usually gaps up next day.
I was actually able to pull off my best month. Seeing how hard September is statistically, it gives me confidence in my potential when spring trading comes around. That being said, I had my best week last week then completely fell apart this week. Crazy because I made over 2k last week which is what I'd need consistently to be a 6 figure trader, then gave most of it back this week as lot of glaring mistakes became obvious and my emotions took the wheel. Had my first 1k green day last week then this week had my first 1k red day in months. Crazy how things go in this game.
@@kylewilliams3752 I love the last point you made over comparing setups that are there but the market overall is slow vs when they are hot. Definitely did not have this in mind this month
