Loved Grand Teton. It snowed and rained on us in mid June ‘22. Stayed at Colter Bay. Loved that campground and amenities it has for families. We booked colter bay and Yellowstone campsites 6 months in advance. 6 days was not enough. Our Yellowstone reservations got cancelled because it flooded the day we left the Midwest on our road-trip. We had to extend our stay in GTNP by getting another last minute camp site in colter bay to cover a couple of the days we were supposed to be in Yellowstone. Brought our canoe and we canoed Jenny lake. It was amazing!
We visited in July 23. We were staying in Grant Village in Yellowstone and drove down for the day. If you just want to see the Tetons and Jackson, one day is enough unless you want to immerse yourself in all the activities.
We really enjoyed your travel guide for Grand Canyon, and would definitely recommend your guides. The audio guide was awesome because we were doing a lot of driving so it was great to keep us entertained, and really added a lot by giving us all the historical background.
I’m so glad you enjoyed them! Thanks for sharing. We would love it if you’d leave a review on our Grand Canyon page (scroll to the bottom) wereintherockies.com/grand-canyon-packages/
Want to thank you guys so much I’m travelling from Ireland 🇮🇪 to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons next month. Your videos have been so helpful in helping me plan my holiday thanks a million !
This year is not my first trip to the Tetons (my 4th) but I still watch your videos. I can always learn something new and I enjoy your history lessons. I look for nature and history on my trips. I camp in Gros Ventre to save money and watch for wildlife. As far as food goes, Doornan's Pizza and Pasta is the best, especially the upper deck viewing. I may try the chuck wagon this year. Sandwiches never tasted so good as when your eating outside looking at the Tetons. Traveling from Texas is a long, long drive but it is worth it. I always spend 5-7 days here. Thanks again for the great videos.
We just bought your guides for Grand Teton & Yellowstone National Parks . We love your videos . Very detailed and fun to watch . We are staying in Victor for the 4th of July .
Wanted to let you know we watched your videos about visiting Yellowstone and Grand Teton. They were spot on regarding what to see and do. We will be back for more. Thanks for helping plan our trip.
My husband and I have visited these two parks for many years in a row and thankfully are going back end Sept early Oct. hoping we don’t get snowed out! Great information you’ve both shared! Really looking forward to our trip!
I love it! Great movie. Very polished. Very informative. Very accurate. Obviously done in butt kick mode! 🤣 Cheryl took the win on that one! Although, Matt’s crusty cowboy hat is very authentic! 🫎
Wonderful video! I absolutely love Western scenery like this. I’m originally from a Western State (California), and would love to visit Wyoming. I miss seeing the mountains and all things West. It’s just so beautiful. Proud Westerner here ♥️ I moved to the Deep South region of the US, and I certainly miss the West. New subscriber here. Looking forward to more of your awesome content 😃
You guys do such an awesome job with these videos! We’re hoping to visit Grand Teton either before or after our Yellowstone stay. I finally got our Yellowstone guide. So awesome!
We’re staying in a cabin in Colter Bay. Really looking forward to our time in the Grand Tetons & Mormon Row again. Maybe we’ll run into you guys when we’re there in June
Snake river Brewery and Roadhouse brewery and Eateries ( Elk tostadas at the Roadhouse ) Dornans for the Pizza Heart six ranch for horseback riding. Tagget lake and keep going past Inspiration point and hike into Cascade canyon.
This was a great video, but I was distracted by the UFO at 23:13, haha! Seriously though, I'm coming back again the first week of October, and you guys showed me some things I completely missed the first time, but have on my "to do" list for when I come back! Great job!
Another great video we found helpful. Unfortunately, since we are travelling from Australia, we don’t have the luxury of multiple days everywhere we go, so we do have just one day there. I’m sure we will make the most of it anyway. Only 6 and a bit weeks to go 🎉😊
We have been to Glacier, Yellowstone, and Grand Teton several times. We are getting ready towards the end of May to go on vacation back to Yellowstone and Grand Teton primarily to ride our ebikes. We didn't have them on our past vacations to these parks. I went ahead and bought your itinerary. I doubt that we will follow them exactly, but I thought they might be a great reference to have on our vacation. Thank you for your videos and for putting all of this together.
I prefer Glacier at Kintla Lake (past Polebridge area). However, with the reservation system, Grand Teton is more accessible. We were trying to go to Glacier at the end of the week, but we can't get a reservation to get into the park at any of the entrances for the rest of May/beginning of June. Now we are just going back to Grand Teton and Yellowstone.
I just discovered your channel with this video. How sweet you are lady! My husband and I just got the plane tickets from Puerto Rico for the end of August. Thanks for the video and the information. Greetings from the Caribbean!
Heading up there on a motorcycle trip this summer! Thanks for all your work, I love your channel! Could you do a video on primitive/ dispersed camping options in the area???
I loved this and I love you guys. I have a connection with GTNP and have been 5 times in the last four years. We can’t get enough and I still learned some great stuff from this episode❤❤ and I prefer GT over YNP. Don’t get me wrong, both are magnificent but GT has my heart
Thanks! We have an older Grand Canyon planner video you can watch. The new one won’t be out until early next year probably (we make a lot of them in the winter)!
I enjoy your videos and they really helped when planning our recent trip to Utah. I was wondering if you’ve ever considered focusing on Washington state and Oregon?
Love the videos! Do you guys recommend a certain camera. I'm going out west for the first time and want to get a nice (but not crazy) camera for my future trips.
Our family of four are visiting Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons in June. I am interested in your guides. Do you tailor the guides to fit the number of days we are staying at each park?
They are definitely flexible. Grand Teton has 2-4 days (even more) of itinerary and activities. Yellowstone is a 4 day itinerary but we provide ways to condense or extend it easily. Thanks for watching!
We will be in the Tetons the last week of Sept using your Teton travel and audio guides along with YS and Black Hills. Will I need to make reservations for some of those activities like Jenny Lake boat ride and activities in Jackson, or can we just do walk ups end of Sept?
Can you work on the app? I remember using one in Hawaii, so it’s like listening but it looks like navigation and tells you where to park, where to turn. I’m dreaming we could have more apps like that! 😊
Hello: Please forgive me for asking but we have a F450 with a camper on it. We plan on driving it to stay at one of the camp sites. They they offer electrical and water hookups? Dump sites available? Costs per night? We do plan on buying one or all of your guides but wanted to ask these questions first. Thank you very much

Great informative video. I agree that one should spend at least three to four days at Grand Teton.

Your motorcycle trip sounds fun, enjoy. Thanks for the suggestion.
Leaving for there on the 31-6 staying at Gros Ventre, hoping the weather holds since we will be tent camping, going to be absolutely epic.
Good Luck! Have fun.

Another airport I have used is Idaho Falls airport. Would recommend.
Great videos, I have purchased the itineraries.

You're welcome 😊
I have watched many of your videos. Getting ready for our trip. Did you say I. One of your videos that if you ride the gondala after 5:00 it is free
The video you're referencing is a fairly old video. The gondola ride is no longer free.
My grandparents live in Victor and Driggs
Love your videos guys, very informative.....can I ask a question which camera you use for video and pictures
Thanks for watching. We use a iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Many things start to close down around mid-September. I would look into both making reservations as well as open/close hours.
You forget the Idaho Falls Airport (IDA).
thanks!
We will be visiting Grand Teton the first week of May, can we do these this time around ?
The park may not be fully operational the first week of May, but you should be able to access most things.
Can you work on the app? I remember using one in Hawaii, so it’s like listening but it looks like navigation and tells you where to park, where to turn. I’m dreaming we could have more apps like that! 😊
We’d love to have an app…. Maybe some day.
Hello
We are visiting at the end of the month and we were wondering which rafting company did you use ?
We did the Triangle X River Float. See our article here: wereintherockies.com/triangle-x-river-float-review/
Where did you stay (cabins)?
at an Airbnb in Victor, ID.
What road is 4:45?
It's Mormon Row.
Planning a trip but am 70 with limited mobility due to knee surgery. What would you recommend?
Some ideas are drive the Loop the Snake, go to some museums, drive the Wildlife Loop, and ride the tram at Teton Village. Enjoy!

Hello frend
My advice....stay out of Jackson. Nothing but a traffic jammed tourist trap. It took us 1 1/2 hours to go less than a mile. I will never go back.
Oh wow! Sounds like you were there at a crazy busy time.
