Great job guys. Very professional video. Love how you showed how you repaired the pits of the concrete. A few things that maybe you could mention... How many mils is the epoxy applied? What's your formula of coverage for the flakes? Typically, we tell customers to figure the square footage divided by 9 for 1/4" flakes to get a full broadcast. Amazing, professional video fellows.
cool video, I have 3 questions if you or someone would kind to help: what if garage f'oor is slopped towards a drain? will the epoxy run off the concrete ? what if you have repaired cracks, does the epoxy hide it all? what if your concrete is cracked heavily, and/or bucketed towards the the wall do you just use leveling cement and use epoxy?
Wanna get a quote to do my garage floor asap. It is 398 square feet. I did the walls myself and it is done. Just need the floor done. I'm in Oakville. Please let me know how much and when it can be done. Thanks!

No your best bet would be to have a urethane cement done and then top coat with epoxy and broadcast with flake. urethane cement will hold a 15 ton dozer no problem, but price is massive. Best bet would be to install jack stands and coat around
LOL. I love how the home they showcase could easily have the home owners drop $10K into this level of professional job. This is out of the price range of the average home owner.
It's really not that expensive. I have gotten a few quotes from local companies and they both came in at around 4k for a 2 car garage. For a finish that will last over 20 years, id say that's quite fair
Yo hago metálico ,stain ,en epoxy hay muchas formas como hacerlo cuando lo haces con flex es super mas rápido porque el piso no nesecita mucho detallarlo

Unless you want to buy a 500 pd grinder and elaborate vacuum system you cant do this yourself, the product, preparation and application process is why it is so good.
I used a sand blaster with a pull behind air compressor to do mine. Came out just as good but it was a lot of work for one person. And I had to drive to 4 different Home Depot’s to buy enough flake to get that kind of coverage.
@@head7502 I have a 26*24 and I used about 10 bags, I went with a slightly less dense coverage pattern. But still looks beautiful. I used a 2 part polyurea filler to fill the control joints. Results were spectacular. I put race deck over it.

Ryan this is not true, a professional will mix with a wooden stir stick for 2 minutes to keep air bubbles from forming after application, mixing with a paddle mixer creates that vortex and mixes in a lot of air into the material.
I'm not sure where you got the $20k price tag. The installation cost varies depending on the size of the garage and the condition of the concrete floor. We do a lot of jobs where people did an epoxy floor themselves. In a couple of years these floors tend to peel and come up. The preparation of the floor is critical if it is going to last.

@@DontCryAboutIt how much did not cost you? Did you go with epoxy base/poly aspartic sealer or polyaspartic base and sealer?
Yo hago este trabajo
Usually, obviously depending on what kind of material you get and how much patching your floor needs, our company would charge around $8-15 a sq ft
Do you use a normal squeegee or a serateted squeegee.
A normal squeegee works. We seal the floor along the base boards so you can use a hose to wash the floor and squeegee out the water.
how strong is this? can i put jack stands on it without it denting or chipping?
