Very good review . I have owned these kz zsn pro since 1 year and I agree with your review. I used to listen to them from my one plus Nord with a regular pass through usb C dongle . It was too sharp with shouty upper mids . Then I invested in a hidizs s1 usb C dongle for 2300 rupees and it changed these in a good sense . Bass had more impact and upper mids weren't as shouty and I truly started enjoying these . They have good depth in stereo. I basically would recommend getting a usb C DAC amp.

bro i also used CX275s for 4 Years straight one question , what is the loudness of KZ's at 50% as in Video too Lofo said that above 80-90% it distorts the sound , so at 50-70% is that a good volume stage where the loudness is good enough & for the bass as Sennheiser kicks in bass whenever needed not like other brands which boosts the bass too much.
@@dheerajpareek10 loudness: KZ's are much louder than cx275s and he said it right that it hurts after 80-90% but I am pretty sure no matter how much louder you listen in KZ your need will be satisfied within 60% volume. So volume is high in KZ but at higher level the sound doesn't distorts thats the best part.
Bass: Look the bass is good in KZ I listened to same song on both an tried to compare them on both the earphones in Sennheiser the experience is rich as bass is good & even in KZ there isn't any compromise on bass it's just after listening to KZ I felt that Sennheiser used to push bass which somewhat lowers the experience of song by somebit. So, Bass is good in Sennheiser and in KZ it's also good but is produced in a fashion which makes you audio experience rich.
KZ's are more refined and trust me you will start appreciating songs more when you will hear in KZ. Must try worth a shot
@@dheerajpareek10 shonit's answer sums it up . Yes the bass is a little boosted in Sennheiser but it sounds a little artificial of some sort . The other elements are usually overpowered by the bass .. specially hip hop . It's been a full day of usage and I have tried it with laptop ipod and phone now (KZ) and trust me it's amazing .. for me it was kind of a bet to try something new and it's a pleasant surprise . Yes the loud is very loud but I do love that too sometimes .. pretty sure it's going to hurt my ears in the long run . But the love for metal and rock is rejuvenated because of these new ones.
U can also try reviewing this one with its upgraded version ZSN Pro X

@@petrichor259 Practically, Pro X has cosmetic changes. It has gold faceplate with different color cable. However, in terms of audio output, both Pro & Prox X are very much alike.

those were my first IEMs, great for drummers, and also for music (casual listening, not so audiophile) I've also used them as my handsfree so, as you say, is better to orderd them with microphone, great video!!!

Been using the kz zsn pro for 2 years now. Got mine for 1299 from Amazon and it was the best deal.

I loved your review and I'm hoping to buy them anytime soon since rha ma390 have discontinued. My concern is about durability since I use earphones everyday for about atleast 2 hours.
only for JBl i will say those are less durable. Rest all is good.
I have used Sony XB55AP and KZ ZSN Pro. From what I can say, KZ is much much clearer with a better hitting bass, but not as sustained as Sony's. None of them had a comfort issue. Only issue is that you need a good DAC for KZ to sound not cheap. All phones except iPhone have much worse DACs and thus KZs sound cheap and tiny, with no bass.
Anyone who is a bass head and does know how to EQ can pretty much go for it!

Kz zsn pro X better than anything under 2k from headphone zone. Usually some earphones sacrifice their highs and mids to give best bass and some are sacrifice bass for best mids and highs but these doesn't compromise on giving all details in audio spectrum. It has tight and punchy bass more than I expected. These are bright IEM's so we don't need to worry about vocals and trebles. And these are less sibilant(making hissing sound at high frequency like 'sss') compared to kz zsn pro. Highs are soothing unlike kz zsn pro ( it's trebles irritates some times). Overall compared to kz zsn pro it has good instrumental saperation good sound stage, cleanest sound.

@@gangadharanja641if you want cleaner sound just go for zsn pro X. If you are bassheads then choose kbear ks2. If your budget is low then only choose KZ ZST X(it is also for bassheads).

I am using it from last year the cable quality is not too primium. I suggest having 8 core wire with this will sound greater. One more thing use Cary pouch to extend the the life of cable as well iems.

I have used soundcore Q10 but I never buyed iem earphones before should I go for kz zs 10 pro or moondrop Aris or I should go for 2000 rs like BLon BL 03 or kz zsn pro I am using only smartphone for play but I willing to spend money on earphone because I love music and separation of different frequencies specially background music in movies like violin , piano,shitar, guitar or also vocals but I don't want vocal or any frequency overpowers another . I've had these for a year now and I hated them. The high frequencies are so bright and fatiguing that I can barely listen for hours and you'd have to lower your volume to tame that brightness. The drivers also failed after a year despite being taken good care of.
Honestly, just get the Blon BL-03 for like the same price, they're miles better. Going toe to toe with IEMs double if not quadruple their price. Replacing the tips is vital to get the most out of it though.
The ZSN Pro X literally uses the same drivers and tuning as this old model, the only difference is the housing design

My kz is 9months old the rubber surround the pin is melting from the inside. Good thing the plastic it is attatch to the iem is not melting too.

I've read the bass is slightly more refined as a result the vocals are slightly clearer . But there are reviews also saying there is no difference . I have the kz zsn pro and sounds great but only when I paired it with the hidizs usb DAC. When using it with my one plus Nord through a pass through dongle it is too bright.

ex255ap is also good....but the difference between dynamic driver and dual driver will always be there which adds an extra richness to the audio on KZ.

rha , ex255ap and zsn pro., all have a character to their sound with minor differences and overall sound is good in all of them. You have to buy them to experience the audio :). I will prefer RHA and KZ.

DAC not necessary but definitely an advantage if you have one.

i didn't use cx300 but from the sound signature of cx180 ....ill say kz will be better or atleast comparable. A lot will depend on the taste you have.

If you are intrested try them on an upgraded cable of 8 or 16 core and it will blow your mind.The stock cable doesnt fully exploits the iems capabilities and with the ryt eartips its a difrnt story.
some other iems iam intrested are moondrop ssp(on the way)tripowin tc01(wish to buy)..although they come at a higher price range I believe they do deliver that extra kick.

I just got mine, and I see they reduce some specs from this same model. Impedance are now down to 16±3Ω from originally 24Ω and Sensitivity now down to 109±3dB/mw

Its not hurting actually...but i said in the video that at high volume it feels noisy. Let me know which earphones you are using at the moment.... according to that i can suggest.
@@lotoftech I have used a lot of earphone . Earlier I have used one -more piston fit , rha m390, cx180 , sony mdr ex 155ap and now sony mdr xb 55ap. I just hate mdr xb55ap , because of the high amount of bass which suppress the vocal at a high amount. Among all these I really liked the sound signature of one more piston fit . It has got perfect amount of bass, neither too low nor a bit high , exactly the right amount needed for an average user(80% of user). And It have just the right amount of high which is really really comfortable for long term listening with a good amount of clarity in mids. I just had brought these earphones with a hit and trial approch earlier and not expecting a good sound signature beacuse of its price (which was 800₹ when I brought). But my god it's just amazed me by the way it's sound in just 800₹ . Can you suggest me earphone similar to one more- piston fit sound signature , but with upgared clarity and more sound stage .
Btw fan of your work , and you are doing .Great job in the segment of earphone which you are reviewing, because consumer like me whoes budget is max upto 3k for earphone now can get a deatil clarity about which earphone sound like what ,so that we don't have to do hit and trial and get the wrong one like what i am using now sony mdr xb 55ap . if base your priority then go with xb55ap or xb75ap or xb400.

DAC will definitely enhance the sound of any earphone. I didn't feel the need of getting a DAC but you can definitely get one .
