If anyone like me thinks these have the mids a bit too recessed, flip the number 3 switch on and slightly increase the EQ on mids to highs (slightly). It will sound amazing and still retain the punch.

They are not uncomfortable or weird.
It's not huge,but not as flat as certain others are.
Plus,the sound with the settings I mentioned makes up for everything.
I have both tangzu waner and this castor bass version.. Castor sounds little bit more wider soundstage ❣️✅ with tight bass response (swich 1&2 ON) and more relaxed which i like more.
Tangzu Waner had more forward mids and more mid bass and better and clear highs

If mids and highs then Waner sg
Kz sub bass is more and tight

Both are very nice IEMs for beginners.
The Castor gives you the ability to tune a little bit to your liking.
Overall,the sound is so impressive,but make sure to use a DAC as I've mentioned in the description.

I haven't used the CHU II.
But the Castor is what I can vouch for using my recommended settings and pairing it with a DAC.

Mine didn't come with foam tips pre-installed. Heck, there are no foam tips in the box. I've received only silicon tips that to in white color. Did anyone experience this with Bass Version?

Depends on personal preference.... nothing is better than one another but I prefer Chu 2 because I like neutral sound signatures.
