ja Jip - there's nothing politically incorrect about this whatsoever. The joke is not aimed at people's sexual orientation - it's aimed at Frank. Political correctness spoils things for completely the wrong reasons.
dtz1000 because the libtards have pushed political correctness upon us, resulting in comedians not being funny anymore. Comedy used to be funny as fuck, but these days it’s a load of unfunny, boring jokes about Trump.
@Hugh Jones it's mad isn't it? I am a left wing Labour voting individual but I think political correctness has gone too far. How long before it becomes wrong to depict someone depicting the depiction of political correctness?
Frank and George Rottweiler, always makes me cry with laughter but I think this is the best of their sketches. Frank going COMPLETE RAGE MODE! 😂🤣😂🤣 If only Al Murray's Pub Landlord was the barman. 😂🤣😂🤣
If ur gay and wanna test how cool u r watch Eddie Murphy's stand up on Netflix - I got to 15 mins and actually couldn't believe how amazing this man is
@@robwoods8436Snowflakes refers to lefties who want to deplatform people or who like their safe spaces. It does not refer to right wingers, so lefties will have to find another word to describe them. Nice try though.
Reaction to his gay son is a doozie. I was looking for this one! I didn't see the start of this sketch when I saw it on TV originally. I would have thumbsed up this video were it not for the annoying unskippable advert at the start. Message to BBC: OI! C! NO! GET THOSE BLOODY ADVERTS OFF THE START OF YOUR VIDEOS!
@HighrockTendales the commenting option is put there for people to express their opinions about the video and the topic, if you dont the comments then dont read them.
You wouldn't be able to see this even if you could watch the BBC - it's from the 90s. Wish the offical bbc uploader would credit which series it's from (either Harry Enfield's TV Programme or Harry Enfield & Chums) & year of broadcast. Even us who pay out tv licenses and watched it at the time can't legally watch it again (except maybe edited repeats on satellite) because the BBC's commercial decision keeps constantly delaying or cancelled the dvd release.
You can still find all these shows online. A good suggestion is streamio they have everything you'd ever want to watch on there. I just checked and they have the Enfield show. They have harry and the chums, harry and paul, his new sparkling video series. Everything is on there so I'm assuming you could find these anywhere online.
Oh yes!! But if, after McCarney & Lennon had finished the song, Yoko turned round and said.. "Vely nice, but I think it would sound better in E Frat" I SHOULD SAY.......OI..........
Oh yes if I'm in my local drinking establishment having a quiet beer with my wife on a sunday afternoon and Doberman and Whitehouse come and sit on the next table and Doberman starts going on about the state of the economy ill say oy, Doberman, no.... Lol
You'd never see humour like this on the Nulabour BBC now woud you? Harry Enfield has disappeared into obscurity. His humour was fantastic.....but just too much for the PC brigade
Yes, usually. Although I remember once watching an American police drama with quite a posh girl and I was virtually doing simultaneous translation for her during the movie.
I think that Harry Enfield does not get the recognition he deserves. His comedy is on the money. Maybe it's an age thing.
he does deserve more but it’ll never happen nowadays this would be cancelled if it was more popular for being “offensive”
All comedy is under attack from the far lefties.
Everyone who grew up in that era loved his stuff. Now we're told not to like it
Its not, I'm 30 and I love his comedy, always have
@@dtz1000
Apart from the comedy that's under attack from whining right-wing snowflakes.
This is basically every Wetherspoons
My uncle said that. On a Saturday night its 'like the wild west waiting for a fight to kick off'. lol
i was in a weatherspoons once watching a fight and a pool match broke out....i nicked off......
🤣😂🤣👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
That comment made me seriously belly laugh
Very very funny sir
Born in 1988, used to stay up with my Dad and we would roar with laughter. Good old days.
it was on in the evening
Enfield, Whitehouse and Kathy Burke were brilliant - couldn't get enough of them in the 90's.
Self Righteous Brothers, Tim, nice but Dim, Wayne and Waynetta Slob, Sheer Brilliance!!!
Even the 80s on Friday Night Live😊
Once again. Another good example where the audience/public could work out the humour for themselves. And who the joke is on.
"Not you aswell!" kills me every time 😂😂😂
Why is there nothing as good as this on these days
ja Jip - there's nothing politically incorrect about this whatsoever. The joke is not aimed at people's sexual orientation - it's aimed at Frank. Political correctness spoils things for completely the wrong reasons.
paulanderson79 To the snowflakes saying poof, poofter, pansy, etc in any context is politically incorrect.

"Offended" that magical word that has spoilt everything for the last 10 or 15 yrs
@Hugh Jones it's mad isn't it? I am a left wing Labour voting individual but I think political correctness has gone too far.

Still watching and laughing in 2019
Still watching and laughing in 2021
2021
Still hilarious in 2022
2022, im still here.
2023
I met a man in a pub in Camberwell. He said he used to be Elvis's bodyguard and he absolutely insisted that I felt his biceps. Yep .. impressive.
It's so ridiculous but it's extremely funny for that reason. The face does it.
Amazing that not long ago we had a sense of humour and could laugh at ourselves, glad these classics are preserved for posterity.
"Noomerous occasions...."
I have not seen anything as great as this show since, not one programme! Every single sketch was hilarious!
I like the way Frank was always highly offended by a hypothetical situation of his own imagination.
Ah, the nostalgia. I love this bit. Simply brilliant.
We all know someone just like frank down the pub don't we eh
frank's eyebrows are killer!
Kinda reminds me off my dad, he's a spitting image of Frank, with the eyebrows and attitude. :D
Amazing to think that this is a BBC show. They wouldn't go anywhere near this type of humour now, whatever the context.
BBC always pushed the boundaries
They wont go near comedy of any sort.
Frank and George Rottweiler, always makes me cry with laughter but I think this is the best of their sketches. Frank going COMPLETE RAGE MODE! 😂🤣😂🤣
If only Al Murray's Pub Landlord was the barman. 😂🤣😂🤣
that guy isn't even in the same league
So funny, love this and the Cook and Moore inspiration.

Remember when people didn't get offended, or if they did, we didn't hear about it. Great times
Indeed the whole point of comedy is poking fun at the human condition and being able to let your hair down and laugh at the world.
If ur gay and wanna test how cool u r watch Eddie Murphy's stand up on Netflix - I got to 15 mins and actually couldn't believe how amazing this man is
Just get rid of twitter and it will go back to how it was then.
The two protagonists in the sketch are the epitomy of right wing easily offended snowflakes
@@robwoods8436Snowflakes refers to lefties who want to deplatform people or who like their safe spaces. It does not refer to right wingers, so lefties will have to find another word to describe them. Nice try though.
What would Frank think of the new Generation Game with Mel and Sue.
I think his head would explode.
Class proper humour that will always be funny to me😂

0:39 - she is lovely at the table in the background
Funny thing is - when this was done Davidson had 4 wives...but now he has had 5 anyway since around 2009-10 so the sketch updates itself, lol
True and more ways in one!
The most quotable video I've ever watched
"Fuh sythe" 😂😂😂😂
When he does the angry walk etc at the end, it's the exact same as when he does the tantrums as Kevin the Teenager :)
Brilliant sketch, would love to hang out with Frank be so funny having a beer with him!
But would you stroke his hand then?
You can still find 'Frank' in east end and Essex pubs
I reckon Frank would have been a Stella man… wonder what he’d make of it getting watered down 😡
This actually aged well
Oh my god I just found these Enfield clips, this show is wonderful! Is it still on?
No matter how many other things I enjoy, cobra kai, walking dead, Harry Enfield is always the best.
I just realised they are like Peter cook and Dudley moor or maybe it just because they’re in a pub having an argument with each other
1:54 - 2:01 is priceless. The long haired brunette in the background is rather lovely btw.

Sensational
1:37 “& out comes his boyfriend Schofield!!”
Was the yoko Ono one deleted, I know I’ve seen it, I nearly died laughing at it when it was on
When the BBC showed great comedy, bit different now .
ha ha I'd go on with my neice 😅😅😅
Ha it’s still great in 2022
Genius observation
Can you just imagine if this was screened today though? Back then nobody even raised an eye brow
I know, times change so quickly.
This is making fun of homophobic people not gay people. This is genuinely still funny. It's not offensive. I wish there was still shows like that.
Back when comedy was funny and nobody burst into tears.
It's ironic that the exact same persona seems to appear in the comment section of so many Harry Enfield clips on youtube
Richard Chappel Ooh, you are a posh one aren't you.
Hoy Chappel NO
Yeah they don't realise they are the joke they think they joke is gay people 😂
And I’d fold the pastry whilst remembering to put the cream in first
