I’ve owned iPhones since the 3GS and I’ve charged every one of them to 100% every time. I’ve never had an issue. My 14 pro max I had for nearly 2 years and it only dropped to 99% People are too obsessed with their batteries. Use quality chargers and cables, don’t let your device get hot and charge when needed.
I charge the same way…I’ve been an iPhone user since the 4…I charge the same way as you @garyjustgary5059… I’m on the 15 Pro now, got it about a month after it came out and my battery percentage just went to 99% last week
My 15 Pro Max still has got 100% Battery Health after 1 year and 2 Months. I’ve only used it between 80% and 40% but with only 150 cycle counts. Greetings from Switzerland 🇨🇭
I’ve got the iPhone 15 Peo Max, I use optimized battery charging, my maximum capacity dropped from 100 to 99 after 33 cycles. It’s currently 98% with 177 cycles as of this comment.
Always to 100% for me.I tend to upgrade every year anyway so battery health is not a concern. The most battery health I’ve ever lost in one year has only been 3% anyway and that’s with MagSafe charging only.
Never. Hundred percent every night, but with optimized battery charging on that stops it at 80% and slowly charge up to 100% by the time I take it off in the morning. I’ve always had the best, longest battery life each year of everyone I’ve compared to, doing it this way.
I like the charge limit, but I am OCD with my electronics. It would be nice if they charge to 90% but at 90% it would display 100% to help my stress level.
Iphone 15 Pro 309 cycle count 90 % Battery Health -Optimal Charge 100%. I noticed when I used Wireless charging my Battery Health dropped faster. I only use fast charging wired C cables with adapters (Use Anker for both)
My phone was really hot and burning battery really fast. faster than my 12 pro I turned in to get my 16 pro. I turned it off and went down 1% in an hour.
I don’t think setting a limit does anything. I’ve tried it with three different iPhone. All has different results. It’s so random. The only thing I did notice is the phone that used wireless charging dropped battery health the quickest.
No need to do all that, just charge your iPhone once a day in the evening on a 5w induction charger. My iPhone 14 pro lasted 2 and a half years without problem.
My 11 pro max was charged 100% all the time and had very heavy use. Only upgraded last week and battery only dropped to 84% from release day on my 11PM. Happy with that over the 4/5 years of the phone so I’ll leave my 16pm to 100% charge as well.

Yes . Agree. Only the heat can degrade battery percentage.
Amen. See comment
You say you had your 14 pro max for nearly two years like that is some sort of achievement 😂 . I keep my phones for six years.
I set charge to 90%
Within 2 months it dropped to 98% with 28 cycles
Im not at all a heavy user

How about people stop living on their phones and live in reality? That preserves battery life immensely

🫤1 yr still 150 cycles only ?? Good Boy maintain Battery health ❌YOUR HEALTH ✅
Sometimes this trigger doesn’t work! My phone has been charged till 100% two times in 2 months.
it is normal. it charges to 100 sometimes to calibrate the battery.
He literally said that 9 times out of 10 it charges to 100 to maintain accurate battery stats
That’s normal.

Thanks so much for the info ❤
You're welcome!
check your lighting during filming it looks way over white
My iPhone 15 vanilla has been regularly charged every night to 80% for 1 year and is at 99% capacity with 223 cycles: I think it’s very good.

What charger you use ?
Got mine to 95% sweet spot
My iPhone 15 is at 97 percent capacity with 84 cycles after 6 months which I was very impressed

Are you enjoying your 16 pro natural titanium?
@@quadriderhonda yes absolutely. It’s great! 👍
@@iMarksXthat's good man what case you rocking? We haven't talked in a while
Same here.Don’t need any of that 80/90% nonsense.Life’s too short.
Im still at 94% on my 12PM and couldnt be happier. Limiting charge increases lifespan by a lot.
Never replaced a battery always upgraded after 2 or so years anyway. But if was to replace my battery it’s not even that expensive under $100
My 15 pro max has 200 cycle and battery health right now 95%
Can I use to this feature on Iphone 12 ?
No
Can you please decrease your video brightness it is just so bright to see sometimes
Noted
It's too bright! 😢 hard to watch at night with switched off lights 😢
I tend to upgrade to a newer phone within 2 yrs, never used this feature & I never had a battery issue before
Iv been charging my iPhone 13 Pro Max 90% for over 3 years battery is on 93 %
But it isn’t working
I set this feature up on my Lenovo Legion Go mice to see it come to iPhone we’ll see if it makes a difference
If you worry about your battery don’t use fast chargers & use low W ones.
I like the charge limit, but I am OCD with my electronics. It would be nice if they charge to 90% but at 90% it would display 100% to help my stress level.
Informative❤❤
Iphone 15 Pro 309 cycle count 90 % Battery Health -Optimal Charge 100%. I noticed when I used Wireless charging my Battery Health dropped faster. I only use fast charging wired C cables with adapters (Use Anker for both)
I use 90% on 16pm since out, now battery health still 100% and 100 circle count
I’m getting in the new iPhone 16
I can barely get thru a day with 100% why would I charge it only to 90%??
if your phone is brand new and it’s a plus or max it should last at least 9 hours continuously on, what do you spend 9 hours on your phone doing?
So even if you change /upgrade every year you’re still limiting yourself to 90% ? Is like living with a degraded battery. 🔋
Not really I’ve actually gotten much better battery performance this way.
@@iDeviceHelpI see… interesting.
@@iDeviceHelp No you don't. Lol. Some times you're so full of crap
@1TechCritic420 ayo chill
I love how the new update fix my wireless issue with Apple CarPlay but now with the update, the song only plays for three minutes and then it pause😂😂😂
My phone was really hot and burning battery really fast. faster than my 12 pro I turned in to get my 16 pro. I turned it off and went down 1% in an hour.
Had my 15 pro max a year & 3 months Max capacity is 95% 176 charge cycles first use was October 2023
Why can’t iPhones earlier than 15 get this setting?
(It’s a rhetorical question….)
I don’t think setting a limit does anything. I’ve tried it with three different iPhone. All has different results. It’s so random. The only thing I did notice is the phone that used wireless charging dropped battery health the quickest.
Because of the heat wireless charging creates

I always charge to 100 percent and go to 0 quite often...1 year cycle count is 292 health is 92%...iPhone 15 Pro NoMAX
15PM 264 cycles and I’m at 94%
then after the 90% try 100% lmfao there is no difference

bullshit it's better charging to 100% it's random with each phone
@@-Jamie lol no
Over 1 year of use my 15 pro is at 99 percent battery 🔋 capacity and 178 cycle count 🤯
I set my phone at 90% but sometimes it’s exceed that persint up to 100% !!!!
Normal to happen
My iPhone 15 pro after 1year 251 charge cycle 98% health
I USE 20 to 80
iPhone 13?
I use 80% limit charge since I got the 16 Pm. The phone doesn't go to 100% not even once 😂😂😂 20 cycles today.
Now my Apple Watch 6 battery was down to 78% after 2 yrs 😂
Mine went to 86 but reset to 95 for some odd reason 😂😂
always 100%. The mobile phone was made to be used
cant wait
I upgrade every year so I don't care
🤔
Who cares, I need my phone to last all day, not gonna if I set a limit, stupid
Totally arbitrary that they don’t allow it on other iPhones
What’s the point of owning a smart phone if worthless UA-camrs are going to throw content out there telling you HOW YOU SHOULD USE your phone 😂
Plus he says some full of crap stuff sometimes.

Thank you for the info 😊
