Nice board/kayak. I looked at these for a while. Hobie's comments that the glue seams holding it together are good for about 5 years, even just stored and not used, gave me pause. But, the Bote SUP company says it is easy to re-glue any seams that separate and they have a video on doing it. I got the Lynx instead which is pretty much just a hard board version of the iTrek9. I'm starting to think the iTrek9 would be the way to go after carrying the Lynx 10 times in the last three days. Can't beat the inflatable's 20-30lbs weight.
this board will not last forwever for sure. I patch it periodically. I do feel like most issues I have had with the board don't interfere with me using it and are easy to remedy. It is light and manageable. I Can fly with it easily. I can carry it to waters i couldnt take other boats. If they made a 9 foot (but wide) lynx, Id buy one and use them both in different settings.
