Would this be OK to cook then let cool then serve with a salad as a starter also can you make these and freeze them I've never cooked any salmon before always wary of fish and getting ill thanks
Did you leave the skin on the salmon..I would have removed it. Also think there was too much green mixture, the cream cheese was lost. Also pastry wasn’t cooked enough (for colour) and would have looked nicer scored lightly on top with a knife.
You shouldn't cook with extra virgin olive oil. Like all unrefined oils, it has a low smoke point which leads to nutrient loss. 'Normal' or non-extra virgin olive oil is fine, as it has a higher smoke point. Extra virgin olive oil is also very expensive. Be like Italians - they use regular olive oil for cooking, and save the expensive extra virgin olive oil for salad dressings.
Why do you need to see her put salt, when you always have to season to taste? If you don't know that your fish is gonna be unsalty, if you don't put salt on it, you probably should go to elementary school all over again
Right, so 1cm layer of pastry is undercooked, when the salmon on the inside is uniformly pink, which means it's at least 60C. If you want your pastry really browned on top, turn on the broiler at the end
xuman beink xd27625 unfortunately this recipe is a mess bcuz when the pastry is cooked the salmon will be overcooked. She should have used a thicker piece of salmon instead, undercooked pastry is pasty and disgusting
What a great tutorial and what a soothing voice
Excellent recipe!
mmm looks gorgeous, like a big salmon pastie :)

Maybe you're right. Haven't dealt with baking nearly enough. Doesn't look under-cooked to me still, just moist.
Both the puff pastry and the salmon are undercooked. Be careful.
why do cooks not have their hair tied back? this cookhas hair hanging over raw food !
The pastry and the thumbnail....two different things
D world can't hear u u step too fast 0 gtadr do it like Trini
Looks pretty but all that spinach and herbs on top would detract from tasting the actual salmon, in my opinion. Not keen on this recipe
U are not doing a good job it's not cook
