Ewden Beck & Upper Commons

Multiple objectives for this walk included: a Bronze Age stone circle, an ancient defence ditch and dike, numerous Bronze Age barrows, an old shooting lodge, rock outcrops supposedly once used for human sacrifice to Odin, The Fox Stones, a remote waterfall and a plane crash site.
The highlight though was the gorgeous Oaken Clough with it wooded, mossy glades and cascades and the glorious Ewden Beck.
