I like yellow balls and frankly it does not matter what brand- I will not pay 50 bucks a dozen- plenty at lower prices work great. Even used ones bought on line,
As a former golf ball product manager, other ones include: Cover Composition/Dimple Pattern and Golf Ball Construction…i.e…..2 piece hard covered balls versus multi-layer balls.
I have used three-piece Titleist, Taylormade Penta, and other more premium balls. There is no way the difference in real world performance makes even a single stroke difference in my game. For the past few years, I've used Titleist TruFeel or Taylormade Speed Soft. My scores have not changed, but these balls are exactly half the cost of Pro V1 at Walmart.
The professionals stick to the same balls because they get them for free. I switch balls in the winter because I don't like losing expensive balls in the mud and leaves. Also, balls get harder in the cold and don't fly nearly as well due to thick air. Claiming sticking with the same ball is ideal because of their consistency is a myth. They're not consistent due to the elements.
Every golf ball has a different job. One may spin more, one may fly a touch farther or straighter, one may simply be a different color. Ultimately if you say golf balls being consistent is a myth, changing golf balls gives you different results every shot and makes golf a guessing game and not something you can try to control.
@@Daniel-36 I said golf balls react differently due to the elements. I can definitely hit any ball further in the summertime than I can in the winter. That's the same for everybody. I can spin balls more in dry weather than I can in wet. That's the same for everybody as well. Saying people should stick to the same ball in the winter because the pros do is silly for the reasons I stated above. Don't put words in people's mouths.
What myths have I missed? 🤔🏌️♂️
Agree about picking ball based on short game. Great observation.

You’re right! It can get really expensive, lots of great budget options available! 👍🏌️♂️
I love your insight. My swing speed is mid (91 driver), but I get 10 yards and straighter. Thank you!
Thanks! Great stuff! 👍🏌️♂️
Nice vid. What about the myth that I’ll ever be able to break 90! 😂
I believe in that myth, if I can you can. Well on a good day at least.
Ha ha! Love it! 😂🏌️♂️

Yes I’ve heard those too. Dimples were going to be included but it was getting too long! Appreciate your comments 👍🏌️♂️

The Speed Soft is an excellent ball! 👍🏌️♂️

Meow!! 😂
I should stick to one ball and stop changing
Great idea! 👍🏌️♂️
Have you tried the tour response?
Titleist states compression is meaningless? Do you think that may be because they want to see more Pro V1's?
Thanks they don’t just sell the Pro V1. Also other brands have the same philosophy too 👍🏌️♂️
I'm aware, but it is their most expensive line.
Let me tell you that a red golf ball is much better when it is snowing. I just could not find a white one.
Ha ha! Yes that’s a good point! 🥶🏌️♂️
Green balls show up better in bunkers
