If you freeze your honey, it WILL NOT CRYSTALLIZE. I was given a 5 gallon bucket of honey years back. That guy told me the trick for long term preservation. I divided the honey into quart mason jars, I inch at top. Screwed lids, placed in freezer, I’m still using it 8 years later. Just as fresh, and it has not crystallized at all.
If at any time you happen to have crystallized honey, just warm it up. I put the jar into a bigger contain of hot water NOT boiling. Don't crack the jar by heating it up too quickly. Or you can micro wave it on LOW
Question: my large container of honey crystallized, if you heat it up, and freeze it will it stay like when you first purchased it?? Or am I doomed 😢 Thank you
@@andreakramer4159 I THINK I tried that with one jar, and it worked, but did tend to crystallize faster than others once left out. But, it’s worth a try. You got gold in that thar bucket….gotta save ‘er! But, all in all they should freeze well. Cheers
I like to make “sushi salad” by using rice as the base then adding the other ingredients, usually avocado, carrot and cucumber matchsticks, bits of nori, crab or shrimp, soy sauce and toasted sesame seeds with wasabi and pickled ginger on the side.
Thank you. Every day I have to open a can of cat food and I've been using my fingers to pull the tab. The tab lands at the 2nd joint, which has now become sore and stiff. Now I can still feed my cats without hurting myself. Hugs to you!
@@Ammut6 - never heard of a double sided skewer. I opened my can tonight, had to use a knife cause my spoons don't fit thru the hole and I was amazed at how easy it was. Really had to restrain myself from opening 30 days worth of cat food, it was tough but I did it.
@@susanlisson7066 - I've noticed that too. Tonight when I opened the can the halfway point happened so quickly that the lid flew off the knife, my spoons don't fit the hole. Guess I'll have to learn control.

These are great tips and hacks Alex!😘 You always make our lives easier in the kitchen!😚 I love putting avocado on my sandwich and I got tired of it slipping off so I started spreading it on. Now other items stay firmly in the sandwich too!☺️ I like the tip of using the cheese package to store the cheese in the fridge but I would also wrap a rubber band around the package to make sure no air got in.😉 I love all the things you can do with an egg carton! You've shown us things before that were great!😁 We really enjoy these helpful videos! Thanks for sharing!🥰
After Googeling, I came away feeling Alex fronts a team of people where while he is who we see, the behind the scenes people are of equal (more?) importance. Suspect he values his privacy but also like the channel is viewed as a team. With respect (and I love him), Alex could be replaced ... but the folk behind him really do bring this channel alive. That said, unsure if I'd watch if Alex wasn't fronting. He is so good. The whole team are.
We got gifted an air fryer for Christmas two yeara ago. We used it a few times for the first month. Then it sat for weeks. Then months. Then I finally just donated it to a thrift store. I hated cleaning that thing. Now I wish I would have kept it
@@Ammut6 I've been cooking for 65 years and yet I find the air fryer one of the most useful tools in my kitchen. I watched Webspoon World videos and learned how to use it before the purchase. I bought a dual air fryer (Ninja 8 qt.) because I'm now cooking for only myself. I find it EASY to clean as all I do is drain the grease because we are on a septic system, wipe it out with a paper towel, put water to cover the bottom grate and Dawn liquid in it, and then let it heat for 10 minutes. I dump everything out, rinse, and it's good to go. BTW: You don't have to clean it after every use. Or, I don't.
@@judyross182 thank you for the input! Will definitely think about getting one once we get out of apartment living! That was the other issue was that it was too bulky to store in our apartment.
@@Ammut6 I live in a tiny home (an RV) less than 399 sq. feet. I keep my air fryer on a cart handy to the fridge, sink and island. I, too, don't have room to "store it" so it stays out all the time. Hint: once you get used to having an air fryer and using it every day you may want to keep it handy, too. Wherever you go, good luck and happiness to you.
I'm glad all your recipes from when your channel was smaller, are still available. Creative, beautiful, healthy. The 5 free were great. And Sushi! Thank you.
Corn on the cob, microwave in the husk for 3-4 minutes (depending on wattage). Cut bottom and squeeze corn up the husk. Corn has been steamed and no more corn hairs.
To stop your PLASTIC WRAP from sticking together' turn each end down a little * & ALWAYS KEEP IN THE FRIDGE' that way the plastic wrap will never stick together & always easy to use straight from the fridge ❤
I am fascinated by your tips. I love the sushi & eggs in the oven pulverizing the shells to use hacks..actually, I love all your hacks. Keep them coming.
To microwave corn cobs I simply throw them in leaves and all, two minutes top and bottom. Mind you, I'm still keeping that sensational trick for serving them with the butter. Sincere thanks from Oz.
instead of using the whole stick of butter for your corn on the cob, I always spread a good amount of butter on a piece of bread then wrap the bread around the corn and make sure to roll the corn around in the butter.
thumbs up except for the air fryer cleaning. I don't need that one because mine is small, and I can basically just wipe it out because it's non stick. Thanks, Alex!
In one of your videos u said to cook vegetables n preserve the soup in cups (what quality cups). Do you use preservatives, if so what preservatives? How long can we store in freezer? I require to have home cooked ready soups, food, etc bcs of my poor health conditions
@@WebspoonWorld will u please tell in what quality cups u store the soup, do you use preservatives, if so what kind? How long can we store it in the freezer?
I usually microwave corn on the cob wrapped in plastic wrap for about 2 minutes and turn it over after 1 minute. I’ll have to try the paper towel method.
Love watching your videos! The sushi is genius. Honey in the freezer! Yum. A delicious trick to butter hot corn is to take soft butter smothered on a piece of soft white bread. When the corn is done wrap the buttered bread around the corn to coat it w/butter. The hot corn makes the buttered bread warm like a buttered roll fresh from the oven.
I always microwave corn on the cob just like that. But I wet the paper towel, squeeze it out, and then wrap it around the corn. Seems like it makes it a lot juicier.
If you do, pull the leaves back and remove the silk and inner leaves first, then pull the outer leaves back up around it. Otherwise it will go cold while you clean it.

I use a metal double sided skewer to open my cans of cat food. Will be trying this spoon method though.
