I don't know why, but UA-cam never suggests your channel to watch and I'm subscribed too! I am subscribed to so many woodworking channels I forget but I won't forget you after this build!! That is one SWEET router table!! The table I built is very similar in design to yours(The basic design most follow) with the exception of those awesome drawers! Now, I'm just a hobbyist, so I don't have quite as many bits as you but, I'm ripping out my drawers and redoing them like yours. What a clever idea!! I wish I had a CNC to inscribe what you have-"Big-Ass Bits"! Laughed so hard when I saw that. Keep up the incredible work you do!
Use 1/2” gas pipe flange, 1.5” nipple and cap for the drawer hardware. It would look awesome with the pallet plank. Industrial meets rustic. Love the build and the flip up wings are dope! I had the same idea for my build. Nicely done!
Hi, I just completed a build of you very neat router table, excellent design. I used a JessEm lift and fence and new Bosch router, no LED's in router area, but a clear lexan door. Thanks again for the excellent design ideas. Brian, Ladysmith BC Canada
Hello my friend, Great design. It's a very good job. Unless you try out the innovations, you cannot learn something new. And you are always working to teach innovations. And you always produce innovative studies and ideas. Thank you for sharing. See you. greetings.
Great job on the Sleeper, Bart!! I just built my with the same Rockler lift, fence and top. I really like what you did with the bit storage - I put in 3 sliding trays on the side but you're right, the slide/tracks take up valuable shelf with for bits. Nice work!
The cabinet is beautiful, I love that rustic look, in my opinion, a cast iron router table top would look better suited on it though, that white top looks too modern for the cabinet, but still, it looks awesome.
Yes yes I am extremely happy and excited to see this video Bart. Love watching your videos and learning. This project turned out very beautiful and most importantly cool. Bart hopefully very useful. Hopefully you get great use out of it. Love palit wood. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend. Keep Making. God Bless.
Great build. I will building a similar project soon and I have made some modifications to my design based on some of your ideas. So that was cool to see. A minor tip on something I got burned on several times, try not to use the flat portion of the base of the router when making cuts against an edge. If you're off for just a moment and it comes away from the edge, your cut isn't clean. If you keep it on the round part of the base, this isn't an issue. Did that on big piece of walnut and it cost me. I really do like your table. Good job.
Whoa!! Totally love the storage, Totally stealing your idea 👍👍 Now all I need is a router, a cnc, some bits and mahogany. Lots of mahogany. And maybe some walnut. A tablesaw wouldn't hurt either 😂😂
This is the first of your videos I have seen, and I subscribed as soon as it was done. Love your style, how you break it all down, and how do-able you make the project seem for newbies like me to try for themselves. Cheers.
Congratz, you did a fantastic job... Sadly, not all of us have the means to purchase these God-for-bid router lifts. Cause I'd love to have one. Believe me. But not finding anything under 400$ is really an unfair deal for such a part. Being unreachable for people on a lower budget. Companies could create some just made a bit cheaper, that lack some options and things like that, but still do the job well, but just cheaper to help lower budget people. My opinion to all the companies out there! But the router station itselft is very nice, I like your rustic look on it (which is me all the way) you did the same thing as I did on mine with the folding ends which are really a great advantage to have when you have larger pieces to work with. I loved your idea for the pivoting draws. I might try it on my new router table if you don't mind me stealing one of your ideas?. Well, all this to say! You did a beautiful job. The only thing I would've done differently, as I did on mine, is Instead of the 2 draws at the bottom, I would've set at least three. Two, one over the other on own side and one large one for routers, miter gauges etc. But aside from that. A PERFECT BUILD. Plus I love the branding on your P-glass door. Beautiful. Congratulations!
Thanks for posting that reclaimed wood look looks fantastic I like it alot. I built mine but I was wondering if maybe my router is too far away from the back of my table. ( 7 inches from lift device to back of table. )Could you tell me minimum distance on yours? I also use a 2 1/2 inch dust port lots of suction and volume. also I was wondering why you decided to put holes in the back instead of holes in the front for good air flow. Thanks in advance for your help. , Phil
Excellent build. Good to see one with dado fittings instead of pocket screws. Where can I find that 4"x2" dust collection fitting with the built in flange?
Ohh I just tried opening it too and for some reason it’s not working. Let me call the website company today and I’ll get back to you. Weird. Sorry this happened and thanks for letting me know.
Great looking router table Bart!! I have the same lift. I love it, but the snap-ring inserts don’t “POP” out anymore. Lemme know if you end up having this problem too.
Nice! So, it's been a year. Have you seen any rust on the shanks from sitting in wooden holders? That would be my concern, but my shop has no heat or air conditioning.
You know I never though of it but I just ran to look. And we are good. No rust. I think the finish sealed it up a bit because it was sprayed and some of it got into the holes. Good thinking though
This video popped up today, and the first I have seen from you. Great style, love the pallets idea, and the swinging bits drawers. That sounded rude...anyway. lots of bits to learn from this, and I am now subscribed. Not sure why I have not seen you before now. Great style...and loved the led outtake at the end.... but why not led's! ; ) PS Are the plans available? Happy to pay but the link went nowhere.
I wish a tool manufacturer would help me out with just a few tools i lost during the time i was getting put on disability because i had to sell to pay bills the 2 years to get approved and now i can't afford to get them back. I can do little bit of stuff before i start hurting each day and that would help keep my mind busy. I've been on disability for 2 years after working in construction for 34 years so I'm still struggling

Sweet build but that pivoting bit draw…. ON POINT!👌🏽 That’s a great feature. Really great job
I really like the swing out bit storage. I have used those brackets on projects, and you are right, they work great. Thanks for a great vid.
